As someone who works in the area, I find myself visiting this place at least once a week for either lunch or a coffee break. The staff here consistently greet you with a smile and efficiently take your order. I've tried several sandwiches on their menu, and each one has been equally delicious. However, my personal favorite has to be the pesto chicken sandwich. What sets it apart is how they incorporate the pesto directly with the chicken, rather than just spreading it on the bread. It adds an extra layer of flavor that's truly delightful. Moreover, they offer a diverse range of options catering to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian choices, breakfast burritos, tacos, coffee, and even happy hour beers. What impresses me the most is their commitment to using fresh, real ingredients in their dishes, which elevates the overall dining experience. Kudos to the team here for consistently delivering quality food and service. Keep up the good work!

Really wanted to like this place but will never return. Online it shows open until 10pm on Saturday’s. My family and I walked 15 minutes from union square to Ellis street to try Cafecito and we came in to a group of employees standing around looking at us like a deer in the headlights. They didn’t even tell us anything they just stared super confused. We had to ask them if they were closed and they were like “yea?” Even though the door was wide open with the Open sign super bright.

Absolutely delicious! Carnitas is on point and coffee is very tasty. Highly recommended. Not in the greatest part of the Tenderloin, but worth the trek.

Tried supporting this local business today but was met with a terrible attitude and rudeness by the woman working there. I was the only one there so she wasn't even busy but I guess I must have interrupted her social media time on her phone. She impatiently and rudely answered questions and had absolutely no manners. Not a single thank you, please, or anything pleasant came out of her. To top it all off they charge $7 for a kids size orange juice! So bad service and overpriced. If you're trying to make it as a business in the tenderloin you should probably be trying extra hard to value any customer who walks past the shit covered sidewalks and into your establishment to give you money.

I loved my breakfast from this restaurant. I got the breakfast burrito and asked for it spicy. The portion was huge and there was so much flavor in every bite. I also enjoyed the Mexican chocolate. The nice spiced hot chocolate was a refreshing yet indulgent drink.

The service is warm, the area is sketchy, and the food is hands down delicious. I tried a quesadilla here that I would gladly get again when in SF.
