I was visiting from Tennessee. I heard about Caffe Macaroni, it's friendly owners and delicious food, from a podcast. I immensely enjoyed my visit. The owner is accommodating, attentive and genuine. The experience feels personal. The atmosphere is spot on. There was nothing negative about my visit. It's great to see a business with passionate owners providing an enjoyable experience for patrons. Next time I visit, definitely dining here again.

A wonderful place to sit outside in the parklets or tables along the sidewalk, at the downtown edge of North Beach. It's been family operated for a long time, and where locals like me go more than tourists. Food and wine are good, and tremendous value.

We’ve eaten at Caffe Macaroni several times. We return here for celebrations, or when we just need to go eat in the city. Mario and Stephanie are amazing hosts. The food is as close to actually being in Italy as you can get without really being there.

I had a special Lamb Meatball and was bland, owner was not nice to my guest telling her NO when asking for cheese. He gave a reason and she said she still wanted it and he refused. (he said cheese does not go with shellfish dish) the wine we typically order was not available. I will likely not return to this restaurant sadly.

The owner and his wife were extremely nice. We ordered the calamari starter and the seafood linguini amongst other things which were delicious. Nice place to sit in the sunshine and enjoy a drink or a meal.

My wife and I got into a Lyft car last night following yet another fabulous meal at Caffé Macaroni. To our surprise, an otherwise very savvy driver knew nothing about this amazing restaurant. What Mario and Stephanie do in this restaurant night after night is just amazing. Small house (with additional outdoor seating) and small staff, but wonderful Neapolitan cuisine comes out of their kitchen night after night. The wine list is well matched to the food, and the prices for everything are more than reasonable. If you haven't been, try it out! You will be disappointed...
