The sandwiches and toast are incredible. A warm and welcoming place to come to San Francisco and enjoy breakfast.

Another great little diner/organic sandwich bar. Very busy and worth the wait. Cops queuing inside is always a good sign. If you're English and cannot drink coffee, this was THE BEST place to get a decent cup of tea. Restroom is step-free but tucked away in the corner of the cafe making it very difficult for wheelchair users but ok for ambulant disabilities.

Amazing breakfast place, honestly the best I’ve been the last couple of days in SF. Also the menu it’s not overprice it’s very good price and quality food 10/10.

Came here for a sandwich take out. Got some cookies too. The food tasted great but the price is in the upper side for what you get. Not a bad place to stop by for a bite.

The food was excellent and delicious but the service was terrible. I asked the lady who was making coffee for coffee lids and she looked at me with a very unpleasant face. She looked as if she was being forced to work. I understand that they are stressed from so much work, but the customer must always be treated with respect and kindness.

I ordered a decaf coffee because I am very sensitive to caffeine. It wasn’t decaffeinated. I couldn’t sleep at night and I had to call in sick at work. My heart beat was fast all night. There are reasons why people ask for decaf coffee!!! I will never go back there again.

A great moment in this dinner, our first American breakfast of our trip was delicious and the smile and kindness of Catalina were the first good signs for a beautiful day. We recommand this place in San Francisco.

Delicious breakfasts. My meal turned out not salty at all, but that’s not a big deal. There is a very large selection for breakfast or a quick bite. The tea is actually pretty good for America – not quite European level, but still nice. Coffee and tea are inexpensive, while the rest of the menu is a bit above average. Overall, it’s clean and pleasant, and quite a lot of people come here.

We stopped by Caffe Central at Union Square and had the Chicken Pesto Crepe and an Iced Mocha Latte — both were absolutely delicious! The crepe was flavorful, fresh, and chicken was perfectly cooked, and the iced mocha latte was the right balance of coffee and chocolate—not too sweet.
The place has a cozy vibe with limited seating, so getting there early definitely paid off. We were among the first to arrive, and within minutes, the café was buzzing and every seat was taken. It's clearly a local favorite!
If you're looking for a quick, quality bite and great coffee near Union Square, Caffe Central is definitely worth a visit.

Really lovely experience here. The coffee was good. The avo on toast was lovely - would have come back every day if there were more vegan options! (Just a different bagel option maybe)
Good food and great pour overs.
