Always eat at Calzones when in SF. Awesome food and exceptional service!

Easily some of the best calamari in North Beach. Margherita pizza was much better this time than last, which is why this is a 1-star upgrade review. Service met expectations. Price is high, but to be expected given the location.

It's been two years since I have been to San Francisco and my first dinner stop was at Calzones. This time I had Gnocchi with Oxtail Ragu. Absolutely delicious! This place never disappoints! Food and service outstanding as always.

Pizza was tasty and good. Far better than the local popular buy a slice place around the block. A bit thin crust but well baked I do prefer a thicker bake.. The pepperocini on top was a nice surprise. Only thing they brought me the wrong pizza but it was closing, still fresh, sat outside .

Service getting seated was great, they arranged some tables for our larger group and sat us very quickly. We sat around for a bit before a waiter arrived and then we barely saw him after food was delivered. 'The Italian' Calzone was good, not great, not what I expected for the prices. Pricing is very high ($5 for a Coke!) and the staff made a big deal out of splitting the check.

We used to come to North Beach around once every couple of months before the pandemic. There would be a lot more tourists and some would be sitting at their outdoor tables. They had outdoor dining before it became a popular thing during the pandemic. Now they have a pretty big parklet. There's also plenty of parking on the street. If it was warmer, I wouldn't mind dining outdoors. Tonight, I had a calzone and mussels as an appetizer inside. Service was excellent. The food tasted great. I totally forgot how awesome they are.

Best meal in all San Francisco! I wish I could eat here every day. The service was so lovely and the have a fabulous wine list. We preferred to eat outside (cafe style), but it may not be for everyone. The food was phenomenal. We ordered the burrata, pasta, and a calzone. All were so good that we finished every last bite. Highly recommend this place as your #1 spot in San Francisco.

Busy place! Inside and outside seating. Loved the pizza crust and flavors of the cremini mushroom and caramelized onion and Bleu cheese pizza! And of course, an Aperol Spritz that tasted just like in Italy! Yum. Yum

Hubby had a work thing in San Francisco and, like I always do when he heads to SF, I tagged along. We got in after the 'regular' dinner hour Tuesday evening and headed here for a light dinner.First visit and it won't be the last. Super impressed with everything - masked staff, comfortable, and a great menu. I've recently discovered an intolerance to nightshades, which means no tomatoes (insert verrrry sad face here). Fortunately their four cheese pizza was SUPER yummy! And just what we needed to help fill the little hole in our tummies. Our waiter was friendly and quite helpful. We didn't hang out long, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had planned on going back before we left, I just couldn't make it happen.
