Service was incredible, we got extra champagne to celebrate our reunion! Our server Matthew was kind and attentive, gave us great recommendations of many tapas to share, and deserts were fire!
Definitely go and eat. Lovely people who make your experience fun and relaxing. Spanish artichoke flowers delicious. Gambas al ajillo sooo tasty. My gluten-free bread quite enjoyable, a miracle.
Enjoyed the patatas bravas and flatbread. Good wine selection. Pretty light on vegetarian options but that's to be expected.
Great place. 10/10 recommend
Waste of time, even bigger waste of money. 5 people, 360$ and still hungry.
Fried chicken was terrible, egg tortilla was 2 slices for 15$, plate of fried potatoes was worse than a diner with no seasoning, croquettes were deep fried mush, bacon wrapped dates were confusing, why even bother going on.
Don't be lured into this tourist trap, it's more American than Spanish. I'd rather eat from 7-11 than come back here again, and save 350$ in the process. Owners, try harder. You suck.
Comically bad, you essentially have to pay $70 per person to get an appetizer's worth of low quality diner food. It's a great place to come before wherever you are actually going to eat dinner.
Absolutely loved our dinner with friends. Cocktails, wine and all the tapas were delicious. Service by Jessica was extraordinary.

Canela is fantastic. I've been going there on and off since it opened, but recently rediscovered it again having not been there since before the pandemic. The atmosphere is warm and nicely decorated, the employees there work as a team to ensure that diners needs are met, and the food is phenomenal.

The food here is incredible - and gluten-free friendly! Highly recommend the bacon-wrapped dates, setas (mushrooms) with gf bread, sugar pie pumpkin soup (seasonal) and lamb pinchos. YUMMMM.
Dietary restrictions: Great for dairy- and gluten-free!

Canela Bistro & Wine Bar a collection of Spain’s best dishes in the ever so vibrant Castro Street. You probably have to come back because we ordered so many dishes yet we didn’t try everything I wanted to try. I had my eyes set on the Pulpo and it was arguably the best octopus I’ve ever had. The sangria is made beautifully. There was this warm undertone that made the atmosphere very romantic. AMAZING place for a date to explore Spains’ very best cuisine. Cheers!

This place was great. From service to quality of the food. Also great for a celiac which means I cannot eat gluten even cross contamination. They were very careful and I still had so many choices. ❤️
