Recommend the tacos al pastor 🌮
I used to like coming here. I just went and the last part of the serving area has a metal wall blocking off your view of the food. What is even there? What condition is the food in? Is it wilty or brown? Will they even put any food on my plate. I had a sneaking suspicion and then, sure enough, they pass a mostly empty plate to the cashier.
This is supposed to be a Taco Salad, but most places will sell you a bigger Taco for 1/3 the price. I get prices are high, but It’s supposed to be filled with salad. How much can salad and salsa cost? This is a lower priced place, but a lot of good that does you if you need to buy a second meal.
This is the main Taqueria in Noe, but cmon, the Mission is right down the street.

I’ve been here for lunch countless times and I always wonder…what Mexican spots similar to this space REFUSE to have salsa bars? They literally wanted to charge me for more for salsa…forget the radish, cilantro, jalapeños, onions, etc. options at a salsa bar,…just salsa—and you needed to request it from the cashier. The third 1 ounce plastic ramekin….’sure, but there a cost for that.’ This place is simply ripping off the neighborhood and their clientele. Would be nice if they paid their employees prevailing wages, but putting up with this nonsense post covid, I’ve also learned that isn’t the case sadly.
Please do better.
Great Mexican restaurant. Nice people with good food at a reasonable price.

I drag myself from 30 minutes away to come here somewhat regularly. I can't overstate just how friendly the staff is. From the moment you get in line to when you're eating is probably under 5 mins. That alone deserves recognition.
Prices are very reasonable, and are a big part of why I keep coming back. I eat quite a bit for my size, and their azteca burrito is more than enough to fulfill my cravings. They usually have some sports on the TVs too, which makes for great entertainment while destroying plates of food.
I saw quite a few regulars during my lunch visit, and it was nice to see the staff chatting and laughing with them. It makes the atmosphere feel quite friendly and inviting, and that always makes the food taste even better.
If they could open a second location closer to me, my wallet would be in real constant danger! Great work to all involved in running this business, from management to the cooks and cashiers.

Great food, nice people!
Really tasty burritos and super taco
The burritos and tacos are consistently good, but the service can be hit or miss-some visits are friendly, others the workers are a bit rude (cold, don’t give the included chips/salsa, unfriendly). Sometimes when I’m there with my Hispanic husband they are nicer
This place is a gem! Was walking back from Whole Foods to my car, saw this place and decided to give it a try......BY FAR THE BEST BURRITO IVE HAD IN SF.
Good portion sizes, great pricing and the staff were all awesome
Restaurantji Recommends
Great local spot, one of my favorite taquerias! Really good burritos and always consistent
The staff is nice, but the ingredients they use just aren’t very fresh or tasty. You can examine the tomatoes they use in their pick de gallo- they’re the tasteless pink styrofoam tomatoes you can buy at bargain grocery stores.
