They were understanding with us being late & cooperated having our food ready & someone to take of us smoothly . We made our show on time.

We went with a friend for brunch. Being pregnant, I asked if I could have eggs well done or get hard-boiled eggs. We are immediately told that the chef may not be able to accommodate this request because it will take too much time. I then asked if their dressing had raw egg; all salad dressings had. I asked about the sandwich sauce; all the sauces (crispy chicken sandwich, hamburger) had. They offered not to use any sauce, but did not propose a basic replacement. After a lengthy conversation and back and forth with the kitchen, they told me I could do a salad with olive oil. I had to ask them to make a special vinaigrette (basic balsamic vinegar with olive oil) . They did not offer any solution. They said they can bring the condiments to the table, so I do it myself. I said no, you prepare it before (this is just mixing two things together). They also charge $3.5 for a toast (this is a sandwich bread from the most basic brand you can find in a store, not even a good loaf of bread). Anyway, very disappointed by this experience. A basic salad with one egg, a side of toast, ended up being more than $25 with tax and tips... not worth it at all.

The burger and fries are phenomenal. All else is mediocre, and I've tried most of them, including the fried banana bread, breakfast burrito, etc.

Made an 8:15 reso for outside. There is no host stand or really any room in side the restaurant/bar area for a host so it was a little awkward checking in because you're kind of just standing in front of a register. The service was just okay. Our waiter was checking in with other tables more than us. I mean it's just a burger place but good service always goes a long way. However who I believe was the manager checked in and was very nice and so was the lady who sat us and brought us our menus. I had the fried chicken sandwich which I enjoyed and my friend got the burger. I think it's strange to up charge to get fries instead of a salad considering fries are usually what comes with a burger but ok. It's good food but a little pricy for what it is and the service that you get. The drinks were really good too. The parklet was heated and comfortable.

We sat at the bar for dinner on the earlier side on a thursday. The space was beautiful, the staff were very attentive, and food came out quickly. Cocktail menu had some unique concoctions on it and they apparently update and add new drinks frequently. Our appetizers were delicious and we shared their famous burger. Burger is solid, two patties, tasty condiments, cooked nicely, my only note is that the bun was just slightly bready (I like super thin buns). The bartender was awesome and made us tiny little sampler espresso martini's as a dessert. Would definitely go back for date night again.

Great ambiance! We were welcomed by the staff and hosts as soon as we checked in. They were very helpful, always checked on us, and were friendly. The food and drinks were good! We love that they allow dogs and have outdoor seating. We order the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries (cilantro slaw, dill pickles, roasted garlic aioli - yum!) and the Michelada brunch cocktail (donna's pickle beer, house michelada mix, spicy salt, picked veggies - also yum!). I'd also love to go back to try more of their cocktails!

This used to be one of my favorites but it's gone downhill. The burger is not as good as it used to be. And the service was not good at all.

Byron is an awesome bartender! He really took care of us. We are in town for a wedding and popped in here for a drink. This place did not disappoint! You can see how much attention and detail they put into their cocktail program. Phenomenal! We will be back!

On my way to the Palace of Fine Arts, I stopped by and tried the Causwells Ricotta with a martini from the happy hour menu and wow, it hit just perfectly.

Absolutely loved our meal at Causwells. The burger was easily one of the best we’ve had in San Francisco — perfectly cooked and super flavorful. Even our 6-year-old, who’s usually picky, devoured it and asked when we can come back. Great food, friendly service, and a relaxed vibe. Can’t wait to return.

I love the burgers here. They are so juicy and full of flavour. The side salad that it comes with is actually very good, but I do have to say that the crispy onions were delicious. We also love the 100 layer potatoes. The cider that they have on tap is excellent and refreshing. The service was fantastic. We sat at the bar. I will definitely be coming back here.
