Perfect spot for GNO! Went here with some friends on a Friday night and was seated right away with no reservation. The staff were extremely attentive and gave stellar recommendations. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and the music elevated the feel of the experience. I would come here for select dishes that were good but not for the disappointing rolls in geneal. Toro cakes appetizer was a good start (5/5) with crunchy rice on the bottom and miso cod with flaky brussels sprout chips (5/5) but the cod was pretty salty (3/5). Service was great but the house sushi rolls, three samurai (3/5), buddha (2/5) & spicy tuna (1/5) under usual suspects roll were disappointing. My server clearly forgot to put in the roll I ordered and blamed the kitchen. My whole family was done eating and my roll arrived after everyone was already done. No apology, no comp. We own a restaurant as well and this is something that would never fly.
