The potatoes are incredible! The drinks are very good, the bartenders are friendly and interesting. The view is excellent. It's a bit noisy but the patios are available. An incredible SF rooftop bar.

We had a very nice valentines day evening at Cavaña. The wait staff were very kind and helpful and offered complementary drinks. Food was great and came quickly. Drinks were delicious as well. The inside was a little loud for intimate conversation but outside offered a quieter alternative; they also provided blankets for the outside when we got cold. The views of the city at night were also wonderful.
I definitely recommend Cavaña for casual drinks or a nice dinner, either way you’ll enjoy your evening.

Honestly, this was probably the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. The cocktails were very poor, which is disappointing because the place has a lot of potential. The food itself was fairly good, especially compared to the bad service and the desserts we were served, , I would not recommend going there

This place unstoppingly play loud music. Ruined the life for the nearby resident. Made several attempt to contact and they do not care.

We came to Cavana after the 49ers game for dinner and drinks. We had a reservation for six people, yet we were seated at a high-top table meant for only two. We made it work anyway and ended up spending over $250 on food and drinks.
After most of our group left, my friend and I stayed to have a couple more drinks. That's when a hostess named Claire approached us and said she had a reservation for our table and that we needed to move. We calmly explained that we already had a reservation and were just finishing our drinks.
She first offered to move us to the bar, but the bar was extremely crowded with no available seating, so we declined. She then asked if one person could sit with us, which we agreed to. Instead, she came back with two people who said they felt uncomfortable sitting with us. At that point, Claire told us we had to leave.
We told her no -- we had not finished our drinks and had received no warning. She insisted we had been there over two hours, which was not true. She became rude and confrontational, making a scene in front of the entire restaurant.
We also asked another staff member directly, and they confirmed that guests are supposed to receive a 30-minute warning before their two-hour limit, and we were given zero warning.
Meanwhile, there were multiple tables that had clearly been there longer than us, yet we were the only ones being targeted. The two guests she was trying to seat even joined in and told us we had to leave, which made the situation humiliating and intimidating.
When we asked to speak with the manager, it got even worse. While we were explaining what happened, Claire came over and leaned on my friend's chair to listen in on our private conversation with the manager, which was extremely unprofessional and intimidating. The manager had to tell her to leave and stop interfering.
Even after all of this, the manager brushed off the situation with no real accountability.
The way we were singled out, publicly embarrassed, and pressured out -- while others were left alone -- made us feel racially profiled and targeted.
This was one of the most upsetting and unprofessional dining experiences I've ever had. And we go here a lot.
Videos show her instant, finding another table for them.
I booked a table for New Year’s Eve and paid $800 total for three people, including a $132.00 service fee.
What we received for that price was unacceptable.
After midnight, our table was left without food and drinks because the server had seated herself at our table with her friend while we briefly stepped away. When we returned, the table was cleared, occupied.
The manager advised he would get in contact with us to remedy the situation I still have not received any communication.
The situation was handled poorly, without explanation or accountability.
The service felt careless and unprofessional.
For this price point, this level of service is not acceptable.
I won’t be returning, and I won’t recommend this place.

The view is absolutely insane here! I came for Christmas and I loved all the holiday drinks and the fun cups. The food was so good! But the highlight of this place is definitely the view, incredible panoramic view of San Francisco and the bay. I definitely loved this spot and will be back.

A lovely rooftop bar, one of the best ones in San Francisco. The bar is decorated for holidays and is buzzing with nicely dressed guests. We arrived with no reservations and hence had to stand at the bar and order drinks and appetizers. Plantain chips guacamole with couple of cocktails in an amazing vibe was wonderful. Great list of unique cocktails and delicious Cuban food. Highly suggest make reservations or else the wait can be as long as 1.5 hours. There are only 4 bar stools, so its difficult to get seated. Overall a good hangout place to enjoy an evening of drinks.

Security and staff at the desk were very sweet. Bartenders were friendly but the waiters let me down. I was here with my family and we were asked to be out at the terrace, just happened to sot on an empty table and the waiter was so rude. Overpriced cocktails, view was good but I won't be back as service means everything.

We went tonight after the Cirque du Soleil show. I recommended this place to my group (6 adults and two kids) because I’ve been here before and always had great experiences — but this visit was completely different.
The hostess was kind and seated us outside with blankets. The fire pit was lovely. But once our server arrived, everything went downhill.
We ordered drinks and food right away, including two chicharrón de pollo. One came out quickly, and the second took over 25 minutes and arrived cold inside. The only answer we got from the server was “it’s coming.”
Later, I ordered another drink and my daughters wanted a second mocktail. While she was checking the menu for the name, the server simply turned around and walked away. Very unprofessional. My drink never came, even after another long wait.
At that point we were more than ready for the check, they had already added the 20% gratuity. So I requested to talk with The manager; he apologized and kindly removed the gratuity and voided both chicharrón de pollo, which we appreciate — but it doesn’t fix the poor service.
We all work in hospitality, so we understand how a restaurant should run. This was unacceptable.
We won’t be coming back. You didn’t lose just one guest; you lost six. And we love food and drinks — we would have stayed for more.

Great views & Drinks are on point! 💯
Note: Entrance to the place is next to the hotel entrance. If you use the hotel elevators, prepare to be bamboozled! 😂
