Cellarmaker House of Pizza - SF

Man, this place was depressing. I really miss the old Cellarmaker - it was always a go-to on our annual visits to San Francisco, but those days are gone. The pizza was meh and overpriced, the beer wasn't as exciting as it used to be, and the employees seemed miserable. I guess all good things eventually come to an end.

First time, had the umaminous pizza and the tira'miso'.

I love how unique the dough was! It was so fluffy and light which felt well balanced with the toppings. I loved all the textures involved, the crunchy cheesy crust was a nice touch. You get the signature brownie edges but it's with cheese. Total winner. Ill come back for more and try their flatter pizzas to see if my rating changes.

Tira'miso' was a great spin off a tiramisu. It could use more coffee or something to make the cake more moist. Otherwise, the flavors were yummy. I like the salty sweet sauce.

Not my style of pizza. Detroit pizza is very greasy and heavy. If someone enjoys Detroit pizza this is a great place to explore.

Pretty good pizza, but a little pricey for my taste for pizza. That being said it is the Bay Area so things are just more expensive. I recommend just a classic pepperoni, it really hit the spot!!

Love their pizza and their beer even more. Great Detroit style pies and a selection of craft west coast IPAs, hazys, and cellared beers.

Cellarmaker is easily one of the best / most versatile breweries in the Bay Area but ALSO makers of some pretty damn good Detroit-style pizza. Cheers to 11 years! Cent’anni!

No really a service place, they as you to scan the QR code then bring you food. The pizza selections are odd, not your go-to pizzas. They have alot of sour beers, not ideal for pairing with pizza.
If you are feeling adventurous go for it! I've been there twice, I'm over it.
