Legit Italian food across the board. Generous portions and a modest but reasonable wine list. I have to mention an often overlooked bit: the veggie side was really good. Fresh and perfectly cooked, The room is small and densely populated. We made friends with our close neighbors during the meal, not a bad thing.
Another fabulous time at Cesarios. I started with the Cosmopolitan was a fantastic and then we went into the oysters and clams fantastic then we share the Caesar salad fantastic and then we shared the special chicken piccata. Finished off the evening with cappuccinos and the lemon cello cake. I love this little hidden gem in San Francisco.
This is a little jewel next to the Marines Memorial Club. An intimate setting that makes you think you are in southern Italy. Excellent food selection, cooked to perfection, and the ambiance and attentive waiter sealed the deal. We will definitely be back!
Been here many times. Food and service have always been great but for some reason this last time me and my girlfriend both got sick
Cesario's is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The restaurant is lovely with white tablecloths and a great ambiance. I highly recommend it.
Wonderful restaurant. I've tried almost all the menu items and they are all well prepared. Love the atmosphere and service is excellent A real San Francisco gem and my favorite
Celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary at CESARIOS . Was just what we were looking for. A nice quiet spot. service was terrific. The food was delicious. And prices were reasonable, particularly for San Francisco. Would recommend this restaurant highly for a small parties.
We showed up 15 minutes before our reservation and were told our table wasn't ready. We totally get it! We left to wander around - it was a nice evening. We did, however, note that the table right next to the door was available as were several other tables deeper in the restaurant. When we came back at our appointed time, we were immediately ushered into the still-empty table by the door. We soon found out why. We did not bring winter parkas, so it was uncomfortably cold for the next hour and a half as people constantly came inside the small restaurant, holding the door open while they were told that their tables were not ready, and departed again. Service was very slow. It took over 40 minutes to get our fairly simple order out, and the food was nothing special. San Francisco has a lot of outstanding restaurants, but this is not among them. We will not be returning and don't recommend that you waste your time there either.
We enjoyed the comfortable ambiance, the foods were delicious and wait staff very professional. We were well taken care of. We ate dinner there 2x in 5 days.
Very much enjoyed the cozy well appointed and comfortable setting. Professional kind staff. Food so very very yummy. Ingredients fresh and food temperature spot on. Price points reasonable. We are staying at Marine Memorial Hotel and Cesarios next door.

This little place is a hidden gem! Cesario's cozy dining room is tucked away below Nob Hill and offers quiet, and intimate surroundings to enjoy a leisurely delicious Italian meal at a reasonable price. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.
Love this place.Perfect place to eat before or after theater in SF. Great value, excellent menu, food great. I had a wonderful lasagna with so much cheese on top.Service is top notch.,
In town from NYC. Old school Italian restaurant in SF. A GEM! Hope to come again next time we are in town.
Caprese was a scrumptious app! Appreciated the freshly baked bread. And, the bruschetta, green salad, spaghetti and meatballs, and after dinner cafe drinks were delicious! You feel very invited from the moment you enter until departure. Service is kind, efficient and professional. Other than the tired looking window treatments (which have their own old world charm), this place is a gem which many already know and more should know. If your soul and belly need nourishing, head to Cesario's! Hope to be back many times. There is nearby pkg and location is perfect for pre theatre meal.
We had a great experience for our eighth anniversary! The food was wonderful, the atmosphere is very home-y, and the service was amazing.
