Pretty good sushi. I believe it’s a little hard to justify the price but that’s the price of omakase in the States I suppose. The fish was from a variety of places globally and the combinations were interesting enough including an achari Indian pickle taste.
We went to Chisai in May 2024.
It was amazing.
My wife is vegan and I was apprehensive about a sushi place doing vegan but she agrees it was amazing.
We got seating at the counter which gave us close access to the chef's who were super knowledgeable and answered any questions we had.
Food was great with the right mix of different cuts of fish alongside amazing accompaniments which helped to elevate every bite.

really lovely omakase experience. we did the 9 piece menu for $100 +. special shout out to the hospitality by the host, kelly and the chef, darren. so knowledgeable and kind with our questions about the fish sources and ingredients.
