We came to Chamber for a friends birthday dinner. We had a reservation for 6PM, we arrived shortly before and they seemed to be surprised to see us. They sat us and the bartender came over to bring us menus. We immediately noticed the menu was not the same as the one on their website. The menu was far smaller and did not have any vegan options. We were frustrated because we picked the restaurant based on the online menu and vegan options for one of our party who has dietary restrictions. Be prepared as the menu has 2 entree items and then shareable.
The food we did order was great!! Everyone loved the Bombas and 4 out of the 7 of us ordered the Shrimp and polenta. It was amazing.
We all loved the atmosphere. We enjoyed the funky eclectic vibe and music.

We came here for birthday dinner and drinks and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and service. You wouldn't know this pleasant interior space facing the hotel courtyard was there if you just walked by on the troubled streets outside. We were there on the early side so it was pretty quiet with a music soundtrack that wasn't intrusive. The staff, from the host to the servers, were great and took care of us. The apps and drinks were great especially the potato croquettes and the bourbon drink and the egg white drink. The main I had was a little disappointing though. I had the cavatelli and it came with a big square of melted cheese on it that overpowered the dish and just felt greasy so that I couldn't enjoy any nuance of flavors from the lemon or radicchio. I tasted the tofu and the chicken from my friends which were a notch better. Overall, pretty good place. Perhaps it shines best as a place to get great drinks and apps while hanging out in a hip spot.

Cool place with good vibes whether you sit inside or out. Had games like uno and such you could play at your table. The food was good, drinks were a little pricey.
The ambience at Chambers is unforgettable and perfect for a romantic dinner or night out with friends. The food is eclectic and unique but the only drawback is their schedule - they were kicking us out just after 9 p.m...and the crème brûlée left much to be desired. Otherwise I would've given 5-stars.
Great food and cool, funky vibe

The food was passable, but not as delicious as similar restaurants in the region at this price range. With the fire feature, nightly warming lamps, and pool for Phoenix hotel guests, dining outside was enjoyable. The food at similar places in New York is better.

Chambers was a delight, a really unique venue with some equally unique and inventive creations. It's worth braving the 'Loin for a weekend brunch. Ihad the Hangover Hash Dry aged short rib pastrami, red bliss potato, cabbage, giardiniera, horseradish, rye toast, two eggs sunny side up. It was the bomb dot com. The pastrami was perfect, some of the best I've ever had outside of NYC and it just melted in my mouth. The artful trimmings just rounded out the whole meal, I was really impressed. My friend had the the Pork Belly, tried a bite and was equally impressed. He loved his meal as well. We also shared the biscuits and gravy and it was decadent, great combo. My wife had the Spiced French Toast, and it was a beautiful constructed dish. She said it tasted as good as it looked, the bourbon syrup set it off. Our waiter was a bit of a weirdo, only drawback of the experience. My wife asked if the biscuits and gravy was vegetarian and he said it has sausage in it "but you can just scrape it off" Wow. Thanks, jackass, never thought of that! All the vegetarians of the world now have a great alternative; just scrape the meat off the dishes and you're all set! :) July 2015.

Leckeres und bekömmliches Essen, eher kleine Portionen und wenig Auswahl, schönes Ambiente, leicht zerstreute Bedienung, große Getränkekarte

We had dinner here on a Saturday night before going to a show at the Orpheum. The man who checked us in was so friendly and welcoming. He recommended we try the burger, the steak, and the salmon, which were all delicious! Even my daughter, who rarely finishes a meal, polished off her entire burger. It's a really relaxing setting, with lots of vinyl records on shelves around the restaurant (apparently you can bring one of your own in a swap it for one of theirs). We will definitely be dining there again!
I had made dinner reservation for my birthday Sept 2nd. Reservation were confirmed and accepted. Upon arrival I was told they are closed for the evening as they been busy with a pool party during the day. I am very disappointed. I came from out of town and this booking was for my birthday. If there was a pool party during the day then my reservation should have not been accepted.
May be the most beautiful place in the Tenderloin. Chef gets creative with the dishes. The drinks are always strong and tasty. The day parties by the pool is always a big draw. Be sure to get a room at the Phoenix Hotel, it’ll take your experience to the next level.
