My new favourite in SF, I ordered my curry super spicy, and they came thru! I may not look south Asian, but I can handle it. I feel like other places don’t believe me when I ask (no Gora spice for me pls) - I’m so glad to have found this gem, food was so flavourful. 10/10

We had a very delicious dinner there with the family. We all ordered plates: lamb curry, chicken curry, chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken. All plates came with generous servings of naan, basmati rice, chana masala and gulab Jamum. Everything was out of this world delicious with just the right amount of heat. Not too spicy but so good! Excellent service, super friendly wait staff. Highly recommend! 5 stars!!

Nice little spot that stays open later than most restaurants. The food was good and the service very nice. Their onion naan was delicious!

Been here a few times and love it! It’s operated by a nice family, the food is so good and feels “homemade” in a great way. The decor & music are also fun for dine-in :)

This place has the best Tandoori Chicken. They recently started Beef seekh kebab, and that's yummy! When we want Indian dishes, we always head to Chaska despite there been many other Indian restaurants in Richmond.

Chaska Restaurant serves a really nice paneer naan that’s soft, fluffy, and stuffed with flavorful, spiced paneer. The combination of buttery naan and rich paneer makes it a delicious and indulgent treat that pairs perfectly with their curries. A must-try for paneer lovers and anyone looking to elevate their Indian meal!

Omg my new favorite Indian spot in the Bay. Super rich, flavorful dishes and the prices are great for the city. The Tikka masala was insane. They told us a bit about their cooking process and how they marinate certain dishes the night before and you can feel the love that goes into the place. Friendly staff too.

5/5, if I could give 1000/5 I would. Nicest people ever, very very good food (we got Tandoori platter and Lamb Curry Thali)! If you're on Geary on you don't come here, what are you even doing with your life, dude???

Nicest people.

We had gone for dinner and we loved our food. It makes a lot of difference when the food is good. Their lamb seekh kabab, tandoori chicken, karahi gosht, everything was superb!
Want good food then go to Chaska! You will love it!!!-Papiha Nandy

One of the most authentic places to get desi food from. From Karahi to tandoori roti, everything reminded me of Pakistan.

Great food here. We went pretty late on a Saturday night, around 9pm, and placed an order of coconut curry and biryani for takeaway. The environment is beautiful, and we sat for the estimated 15-20 wait. It was actually closer to 50 minutes before receiving our order- no problem for us, we weren’t in a rush- and the staff very generously gave us an order of gulab jamun for the wait. That’s all to say, the food is delicious! I’ll certainly be coming back for the coconut curry. Thank you for a delicious dinner!

We recently visited Chaska Restaurant while on a trip with our parents. After searching for a good Indian place, we decided to give it a try. When we arrived for lunch, the place was surprisingly empty, but we were seated quickly, and the server was quite pleasant and informative about the menu.

We were excited to see some Thali options, which sounded good, so we ordered the Paneer Thali, Biryani, and Kadai Paneer with rice and naan. For appetizers, we chose the Samosa Chaat and Aloo Tikki. We requested everything to be made spicy, and the appetizers didn’t disappoint! The Samosa Chaat and Aloo Tikki were perfectly spiced—especially the Aloo Tikki, which wasn’t exactly what I expected but had a great flavor.

However, when our main courses arrived, we were surprised to find that the Paneer Thali didn’t have any paneer. When we inquired, the staff informed us that they were out of paneer, which should have been communicated when we placed the order. The Biryani was just okay, but the naan, especially the garlic naan, and the Kadai Paneer were quite good.

Overall, it’s a nice place with a decent atmosphere, but a little more communication regarding menu items would have improved our experience
