Chava's, once a favorite, seems to have declined in quality. The handmade tortillas are now pre-cooked, and the chips are store-bought. Service can be forgetful, and the food doesn't meet past standards. However, the restaurant still offers decent Mexican fare with a friendly yet professional service. The chicken mole was average, with thin sauce and slightly dry meat. On a positive note, the Chicken Pozole Soup was a delicious treat with homemade tortillas, hitting the spot on a cold day.
