Horrible food and not up to par. Steak was chewy and tasted frozen. The shrimp were big but also tasted frozen. The vegetables were clearly frozen and watery. Little to no seasoning on my food. The mashed potatoes tasted instant…..
The bottle of wine was $20 over value. They also have no Italian red wines and they just have cheap target California wine in stock…
The price was very expensive but the quality was horrible. Abysmal.
The cheese board was ok but small and the bread they served with it tasted alright.
Overall, would absolutely not recommend and even though I complained to the waiter about the food in a very professional manor, he did not do anything to rectify it or at least apologize or have any sympathy or suggestions. He simply walked over with the bill. Horrible service as well.

It usually doesn't feel great to be wrong, but this time it did. The menu at Chesty's offers mostly standard American fare options, but there was nothing standard about the execution. Everything was cooked to perfection, reminding everyone at our table that simple things cooked well are often more rewarding than dishes at the latest and greatest spot. (Of particular note: the Grilled Salmon with Meyer Lemon beurre blanc and the Prime Rib).
Add in the views of the SF skyline, the piano player crooning all our favorites, the fascinating exhibits of USMC history (Chesty's is on the 12th floor of the Marines' Memorial Club) and we had a wonderful dinner and evening. Oh yeah, and we lucked into a parking spot out front.

First time here at the Chesty’s restaurant in the Marines Memorial Hotel over the weekend. Cute place and was here for a buddy’s birthday dinner. The restaurant has an amazing side view of city.

Chesty’s is a hidden gem! Located atop the Marine’s Memorial Club Hotel near Union Square, this bar & restaurant is casual and just really good overall. Food is tasty and reliable (they have gluten-free options!) the service is friendly and efficient (Maribel was sooo sweet!) and the view from the 12 floor is wonderful! Complimentary happy hour for hotel guests as well as buffet breakfast!

The restaurant is within the Marine's Memorial Club & Hotel, which is situated two blocks from Union Square. It is on the last floor and have a very nice view on dowm town San Francisco. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The food was good and the prices very reasonable, especially for San Francisco.
(Translated by Google) I visited for hotel happy hour and breakfast. The view from the window seat is pretty and the menu is average. The staff are friendly.(Original)호텔 해피아워, 조식 등으로 방문했습니다. 창가자리 뷰가 예쁘고 메뉴는 평범해요.직원들이 친절합니다.
This place looks very nice, but breakfast was bit of a bust as it cost 24 dollars per person to receive a very eh meal, I will give the fact it’s probably a better dinner place more than anything but I’m not 100% positive I’ll come back for breakfast again, ntm the waiter doesn’t come around as often as they preferably should.
Over hyped, view is amazing though ?
Great service

Best restaurant rooftop view
Best kept secret for dining and cocktails in the Union Square area, atop the Marines Memorial Club.
The best views in the city.
Views are nice at the top, but the bartenders leave a lot to be desired. Many more places in SF to get a good cocktail and conversation.
