Dim sum food is quite good. I'd say above average for sure. The menu dish items we ordered were good as well. Flavorful to the taste of the dish. The restaurant was bright and well lit from the large windows. Tables are quite close but enough for a single cart to get by. It got pretty busy quickly the money we went (11 bodies which includes a baby). It's a bit more expensive but well worth it. Their Portart is very good. We ordered extras. Portuguese version. Not sure the difference of make, but it was light and had a good custard taste.Would definitely come here again when in the neighborhood..

Simply no service. They look busy, but zero service and food just ok. Not worth the wait. 2 of 4 napkins at arrival were stained, we asked for replacement and got 1, from reluctant worker. Service

Would give it zero stars if I could! Where do I even start? This restaurant is shady and deceptive! Our party of 11 ordered the set menu for $368 which included the lobster. However, we were served the crab instead (we were never asked or told that this dish would be substituted). When we asked for a discount at the time the bill was presented, given that the cheaper substituted crab was given instead of the lobster, the manager (heavy set, short, about 4'5" squat, older Asian woman with a mask on in a black pants suit) rudely tells us that they ran out of lobster which is why we were served the crab. She says no discounts are given for the set menu. But, get this, as we were leaving, we noticed the seafood tank (which was behind us) was FULL OF LOBSTERS!! Like, are you for real that you're going to be that stupid enough to lie about that??? So shady!! When confronted with her big fat lie, she says nothing but tries to offer us some stale muffins! Seriously? So weird! On top of that, the place is disorganized, food was low quality; the cubed beef was inedible bc it was too tough and couldn't be chewed through, the crab was oversalted, and the crab maw soup was bland, like water. After placing our order, we waited over 1 hour before the 1st course was even served! We should have walked out. Seriously, don't waste your time or hard earned money on this place. Don't let the line fool you, there's a line outside only bc they're so dang slow and incompetent and are deceptive in stating a lobster for your meal and they'll only give you a cheap crab instead! You'll only fool customers once! BUYER BEWARE!! Restaurant sucks big time, pls spend your time and money on a quality restaurant instead of this place!

This location has always sold dim sum, despite the changes in ownership and name. My family and I decided to try it last Thursday around 1PM. Demographic-wise, there were more folks on the older side. It seemed like a place that they came to socialize and hang out. They provide a menu and you mark with a pen whichever dishes you'd like to order. We ordered the typical dim sum dishes (har gow, siu mai, chicken feet, spare ribs, rice rolls) and beef chow fun. Taste wise, it was palatable, although I feel like all the dishes were lacking either in quality, flavor, or presentation. They charge $1.50 for tea/per person and automatically added a 15% service fee to the bill. Overall, I wasn't too impressed, but there wasn't a wait so that's a plus if you just want some quick sit down dim sum.

I've dined here in-person and ordered take out several times here. Generally the food is decent and there is a good variety of dim sum and items for dinner. This 1 star review is based on the rude woman (4'5" with shoulder length hair in the black blazer) that works as the host when the main manager host (Tony) isn't there. She has gotten my order wrong before even though I was clear in Cantonese and English on what I wanted. This was the latest interaction making an in-person take out order. It's Tuesday night only one table is dining. I walk in and ask to make an order. Another individual walks in behind me to complain about his order. The host lady puts me on hold, looks at his order, and rudely says, "this is what you ordered" and brushes him aside. He walks off looking unhappy. She asks me what I want, and in mid-order, the phone rings, she puts me on hold again and proceeds to take the phone order. Okay, I'm not in a super hurry, but that was rude. The phone order is long and she confirms it a couple of times. She then hangs up. The phone rings again. Instead of telling them to hold she starts having a casual convo on the phone. I understand Cantonese and this wasn't an important call. I look at her like WTF. While on the phone, she proceeds to give instructions to the waitresses to seat people and give out tea to the new guests who came to sit down (so that's 2 tables in the whole restaurant now!) She continues her conversation and doesn't look at me. At this point nearly 10 minutes later, I'm definitely not making my order. After she finishes her call I tell her she's rude and doesn't know how to provide adequate restaurant service (in Cantonese). It's not the time spent waiting that bugs me. It's the careless way she's operating when the next person in line is right in front of her. I don't like writing these reviews but this isn't the only time this host lady has been rude to me and others. I don't expect top notch service at this place. Just take my order, prepare the food, take my money, and I'll be out of the way. It's that simple!

Love coming here for dim sum during the day and for clay pot and entree dishes at night. We live down the street and the staff here has always been so welcoming to us from day 1. The baked char siu bao during dim sum is our favorite in the city and their eggplant dishes at night are lovely.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and a ramp to the door but I don’t think there is a button for door opening

This is your typical dim sum place. Tables are close to each other. They don't have the carts pushing the food around. You mark what you want on the menu & they bring it to you. Food is ok. I've had better. A few dim sum places have closed since pandemic so it's nice this place is still open. I would come here again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Overall, this place is quite average. The food isn't awful, but it isn't amazing. There were a lot of older folks when we went, so maybe it's better for them. Custard cake - 3/5, several layers of bao and custard. Pretty alright, it was interesting so we got it to try lol. Tasted like a custard bao but in cake form, so either get this or the bao, not both!Ha gao - 3/5, shrimp did not have enough flavor and the skin was a bit thicker. I guess a good thing about that is that it didn't break upon picking up.Siu mai - 3/5, alright, decent. Chicken feet - 4/5, it had a alright flavor and tons of garlic on top.. yum! I prefer my chicken feet more cooked and tender, but my mom likes it more solid like this. Lava bao - 3.5/5, decent but there are definitely better places out there. It seemed to have lots of flavor and there wasn't a noticeable amount of oil like other places. Liquidy, but not as liquidy as could be.Shrimp rice noodle roll - 4/5, noodle is alright, tender. Shrimp is okay too, not snappy though.Beef ball - 2.5/5, texture was way off-- very soft and squishy, overcooked or too much water. Very few chestnut chunks. Flavor seemed lacking. Fried shrimp ball - 3/5, typical fried shrimp. Okay flavor. Century egg and pork porridge- 4.5/5, overloaded with flavor! Maybe a bit too much, but still good. We got this randomly and everyone loved it lmao. Lots of egg and pork.

Service: 4/5 one great waiter and one poor waiterFood: 2.5/5 food was below avg. but they offer more traditional Chinese foodDishes:Mushu pork: good127. Scrambled Egg with Prawns Chow Fun: skip, the taste was just okSeafood sizzling plate: skip completely108. Eggplant with Garlic: it was ok. Had a couple of pieces that tasted fishy34. House Combo Wonton Soup: the broth was ok but the wontons weren't that tasty-they provided free red bean dessert which was good but if there was more red bean, it'd be delicious!Logistics:-accepts cc but check because they sometimes add their own tip already to the bill-street, metered parking unless you park further out. Parking is difficult-lots of seating, good for large parties-there's a draft in here, bring a jacket

Once again, I come here and something goes wrong. This time, I'm the only person here and it takes half an hour to fix my dish because--- most likely--- someone completely forgot. Then the check arrives for a tip that no one deserves. Enough with this place.

Ordered the fried salty egg yolks pumpkin, fried calamari/squid, bbq pork short ribs, longevity noodles & dried scallop fried rice, sauteed greens, all were delicious. Also had a choice of red bean soup or guilin go also excellent.

The place is tidy, the dim sum is good, and the portions are generous. ""It's especially famous for its barbecued meats.
