A lot of locals say this place has the best Hong Kong style barbecue meats in the city, that is when I had to make a visit and see for myself. Upon arrival, the lines was out of the door and that kept me wondering to see if what they did was true. That was not really the case because they just had one person chopping for all the customers. Also the store is very compact, so not much people can just wait inside to crowd the whole place up. They offer roast duck, chicken, soy sauce...
Wow. This roast duck is the king of roast ducks. No inside seating and no parks or benches near by to eat. So if you’re like me with no wheels you’ll be eating on the steps of a near by church. The duck is so juicy and succulent it doesn’t even make any sense. The 5 spice shines through like a west coast sunset in July. I love this place!
Busy busy area so good luck finding a street parking during lunch time! Their meters use the parkmobile app so luckily I already have it for MN.Food was mediocre. The potato leaf veggie was really salty. They did have a promo where you can get lobster e mein for $3, but I’m not sure how you can qualify for the promo.Place is clean and you can see all the roast/barbecue hanging right when you enter. Overall it’s not bad but I can do without.
