got the super tofu quesadilla, chips and salsa, and a side of beans. quesadilla was a bit soggy, tofu was absolutely flavorless, but the produce was fresh. chips were stale (i came an hour before closing, so that may be why). pinto beans lacked seasoning. they were cooked well, but honestly tasted fresh out the can. the salsa verde is unremarkable but the molcajete salsa was really nice and flavorful. perhaps the meat dishes are better, but this was a miss from a vegetarian perspective....

The restaurant is right across the street from our hotel and it was really worth it. I ordered a quesabirra taco(you have to order how many you want so it is al la carte) elote rice and beans with mango aqua fresco! My husband had two bean rice and cheese burritos! They also gave us 3 bags of chips with salsa which we weren't expecting. The rice and beans were ok, but the corn was the best it was so good! I really really like their corn tortillas. Great corn flavor and crispy surface w/ soft interior. My problem is with their burritos, I don't know if I got it on an off-day but the birria wet burrito smelled fishy and had portions that tasted off after refrigerating half for the next day.
