Dimsum place next to Portmorth parking garage in China town. This restaurant spellcialized in peking duck. They only serve dinner Friday and Saturday. Other days just lunch.
We arrived around 1 pm and there are people waiting. The restaurant interior is nice. Menu is simple for dimsum. The dimsum dishes are commonly found in all dimsum place.
We ordered lo mai kai, string bean, XO rice noodle, chicken feet, fried glutinous ball, and pan fry turnip. The order was ready pretty quickly.
The dishes are ok. The highlight is the green beans for me. The rest are average. The XO rice roll is a bit too sweet.
Pricewise may be on the higher side as this is Chinatown where you can get cheaper dimsum somewhere else. We cannot really compare as this is restaurant and other cheaper dimsum place around Chinatown is not as nice as this one.
One thing that I am not aware of is there is 5% mandatory charge which I never aware of. If you gave 15% , it is like you give 20% granularity.

Went for a late night snack and it was all amazing. The host was very nice and friendly. All the food came out in a timely manner. They didn’t have chili oil on the table but they brought some out when I asked. The staff seem very professional.

DTF has nothing on this place. The green beans, crisp and soft and perfectly garlicky. XLB falls apart but flavor is vastly superior.

Unfortunately, this review is really long due but this place is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. The dim sum is amazing. The service was great, and the pricing was reasonable. My only negative is the tough parking in the area, which unfortunately is expected for the city. I would definitely be coming back here for dim sum if I'm ever in the area.

Pretty good dim sum. Paid $43 for two people without drinks and had a moderate sized meal. Would definitely need more if I was hungry.

Nestled amid the vibrant streets of San Francisco’s Chinatown, this dim sum restaurant offers a truly elevated dining experience that honors tradition while delivering exceptional quality and service. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels both inviting and refined — a seamless blend of classic charm and modern polish.
The duck here is nothing short of extraordinary — crisp, golden skin giving way to tender, flavorful meat that’s perfectly seasoned and expertly prepared. The soup dumplings are delicate and artful, each one filled with a rich, savory broth that captures the essence of authentic dim sum craftsmanship.
Service is another standout. The staff are gracious, attentive, and knowledgeable, striking just the right balance between warmth and professionalism. Each dish arrives with thoughtful timing and presentation.
In a neighborhood filled with culinary treasures, this spot manages to rise above — not through flash, but through consistency, care, and excellence. Whether you’re a local seeking your new go-to or a visitor hoping for a quintessential Chinatown dining experience, this is a destination that embodies the spirit and sophistication of San Francisco’s dim sum scene.

They rushed us. The food was amazing. Expensive, but worth every penny. But I just hate being rushed like that, when I’m eating. Well, anytime, but ESPECIALLY eating.

I thought the food was pretty good for the most part but a little pricey for dim sum. My favorite thing though was the garlic green beans, omg so addictive and perfectly crisp and flavorful. The scallop shumai and stuffed eggplant and tofu were very good. Taro puffs were just ok imo. Restaurant was clean and the service was great.

The fried shrimp dumplings were incredible as were the sesame balls. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to try multiple dishes, including the soup dumplings, because they were sold out. In fact, 4/5 dishes we wanted to taste were sold out. Instead our server loaded us up with shrimp everything which got tiring after the third dish as they all tasted very similar. To avoid this I suggest coming early.
The new renovation is nice depending on where you’re seated, but the acoustics in the entire restaurant are awful. The service is pretty terrible as well.
All that said, I’d try it again on a week night and hope for less crowds, more attentive staff, and hopefully a full menu.
