As one Connecticut Yankee to another, I'd eat here anytime. Good beer selection, you can smile appreciatively at the Narragansett and then still order something good. Food was great, excellent clam chowder and better natchos than New England has ever tasted.

Amazing chicken sandwiches and food here- I’ve been here many times, but didn’t know the food is amazing. Espresso martinis are pretty decent too, but lack the signature frothy foam.

This isn't just a bar; it's a buffalo wing institution! The wings at Connecticut Yankee are a masterpiece—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly tossed in a classic, perfectly spun buffalo sauce. But the flavor journey doesn't stop there. I also had the salt and vinegar fries, and they were the perfect tangy, salty complement to the wings.
The whole experience was elevated by the bartender, who was fast, friendly, and smooth—a true pro. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it the kind of spot you want to settle into for a while. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to try more of the menu and, of course, get another round of those incredible wings. This place is a must-visit!

This is a great sports bar. They are patriots based though just fyi. Real friendly staff and people here. Don't be a jerk and smile. Also one of the few places with a cold snack. Great beer shot menu.
Pool table in the back plenty of seating and a patio. Tvs all round. They do trivia nights as well Wednesday nights I believe.

Awesome local spot, cool older refrigerators made of wood, outdoor patio and games inside. Lots of locals coming by on a Sunday after softball for a beer. Shot specials as well, Anthony behind the bar is the man.

Great bartender (Scott) and team. Food and drinks were on point. Definitely reminds me of a decent watering hole in the New England area.
Good local bar. Nice people but there's always something that is not quite right.. most recently it was being charged tax for a pitcher paid with cash at the bar. Been there for quiz night more than a few times. Better neighborhood vibe vs thee Parkside which I really really wanted to love when I moved to potrero.

Nice bar
This bar is blatantly racist towards non-white people. Me and my friends are Indian and twice now we’ve had bad interactions with the waitress that works the inside area.
She is short with us, snaps at any question we have, and acts like we are a bother to her. We then observe her treat the white clients with hospitality and grace.
If you’re not white, find another place to hang out.
Fun bar with a sports (Boston) theme.

This and its sister bar, Tempest, are two of my favorite places in the city. They both have food that’s far better than your standard bar food. I ordered food from Tempest (my local bar) weekly all through COVID to help keep them open and consider myself lucky they’re my closest takeout place. CY has a great back patio with several tvs showing sports that’s also sheltered from the wind (important in SF). The Fried Chicken Sando, the Salt and Vin Fries…everything here is great. The patio is decently big and has heaters for those chilly SF nights. They’ve also started doing Bingo Tuesdays and Trivia Wednesdays.

I went today and two employees that were there were extremely demeaning and rude. I just went in wondering if they were playing a game that was on and every tv was on commercial at that point so I couldn’t tell. It was a simple question but the server told me she wouldn’t know so then I asked her kindly if it would be possible to turn one tv onto the game I was hoping to watch and she said she didn’t know anything about it. Then the other employee at the bar asked if he could help but after hearing my question he was extremely rude, laughed at me and said to me “oh honey you’re so adorable just take a look at the tvs and you’ll be able to see”. Unless there is a way to figure out what game is playing based off the commercials then I don’t think I’m unreasonable in asking. I responded that I just didn’t know if any tvs were playing it and if he could just tell me but he refused to tell me.
However, it’s absolutely appalling in this day and age as a woman to have to tolerate a middle aged man saying that to me especially when he is an employee of the establishment. It’s one thing to not be willing to answer my question but to be rude and demeaning was completely uncalled for.
I’ve been a couple of times when it’s been fine and I used to enjoy watching games there even though the food is very mid. Gave two stars because i like the neighborhood, there is a good amount of seating, and there have been kinder servers on other days that work there but the service that is there today was absolutely inappropriate and I hope no one else will ever have to tolerate that from a business.
