Drinks weren't overly sweets; which was perfect for me. But you can still customize the sugar and ice level. You're actually getting a good deal for ordering in the size large. My go to place for boba when I'm in SF! I've tried other boba shops and either the taste were off or overpriced for the size. I usually go for the lychee green/black tea; basic choice but I like the way my drink is made here the most. Only downside is that they closed pretty early and might not be the most convenient to travel to but I truly do enjoy coming here.

Was nice that I was told the thing I wanted would take an extra 10 minutes, because they just ran out. I had no problem with that, and it was nice of them to let me know. Wish I was given a spoon though, because I totally forgot I had 紅豆/azuki beans sitting at the bottom, and it was a waste of throwing them away at the end because I couldn't scoop them out. But no big deal. Tea is actually fresh here, and you get your choice of sugar level. No spot to sit down and enjoy, just some chairs to wait to grab your drink.

For a person that enjoys fruity drinks, the kumquat lemon green tea with lychee jelly has been my go-to refresher drink of all time. I also enjoy their milk teas like the roasted milk tea. Their service can be slow because there's only one worker but the waiting area is decently sized and clean.

The 30% is a bit too sweet.5.5/10

Excellent! Absolutely loved visiting this shop after our Barbie lookalike contest in Chinatown for autumn moon festival. They have a really cute “Made in San Francisco” neon sign. We got 3 drinks, all of which were delicious!

On a hot summer day in July this is the remedy for a cool refreshing experience. The inside is small and on Waverly Place in Chinatown. The big serving at Cool Tea Bar makes it worth a try.

I've come here 3 times in the past 2 weeks, but the last experience I had here will be my absolute last. Arrived at 11:50am on a Monday to place a simple order of milk with grass jelly and didn't leave until 12:30pm, unbelievable. There were a few people ahead of me that were waiting just as long, if not longer, only 1 person working behind the counter, only kiosk ordering available (which I don't mind at all because kiosk ordering is faster and easier - though it seems like not all the menu options are on the kiosk). On a scale of 0-10 in terms of work efficiency and hustle, I give the worker a 2. The guy was flicking hair out of his face every 10 seconds, extremely slow and appeared to not even know how to make the drinks, maybe he was a trainee and it was his first week? Let's say that's the case, then where was the person that was training him?? I was confused as hell, I could've gone to the store to get milk and grass jelly myself if I knew I'd have to wait 40min for a plastic cup of liquid.A group came in after me and placed an order of 4 drinks, one of their friends came in a few moments later already with his drink in hand from another store. Smart guy. Please put an efficient worker during lunch hours, people want to be in and out in a timely manner, this was an insane wait time for such a basic single order. Your drinks are good, but not 40min/drink good.

Unfortunate they have poor staffing here. I feel sorry for the guy working by himself. Sadly the service is slow, again due to staffing. Waited about 40 minutes for our drink and even got skipped twice. How does being number 72, then handing order 74 and 75 first? Sadly disappointing and there's plenty of shops here that are more sufficient to meet service quality. I don't think I recommend anyone to come by or return here. I won't be for sure.

Worse service ever.... I don't think the Cashier speak English well enough to take the orders. I've to repeat my order three times, and guess what, it's still wrong..... I ask for 50% ice and regular sweet. She made other way around. I've waited my popcorn chicken more then 30 minutes. She didn't even realize that she didn't bring the ticket to the kitchen until I ask for it. And no apologies at all.... BTW, this is not the first time it happens.....

Teas here are extremely sweet, especially the fruit teas. Definitely make note if yoh arent a fan - I usually get my teas at 30% sweetness. The milk teas are better, so I get them at 50% sweet. Cool balls are crystal boba and pretty darn good...better than most crystal boba and agar jelly I've had! If you like grass jelly, it is the best topping here imo!Service here is fast as well - what you'd expect from a boba shop in Chinatown! They also offer catering orders that are super competitively priced! Def recommend reaching out if you're looking to get catering or put in a large order!

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD, worst customer service and milk tea ever. I have been here for years and never have I experienced such a rude bobarista. I walked in, he completely ignored us, and took our order after 25 mins when we were standing there, I get it if he was busy, but the least he could of done was say something. Even after waiting 25 mins, I asked for the pearl milk tea, and he said I'm not sure if the milk or boba are ready yet. Then when he took order, i saw that the sign said "out of large cups" but when I ordered my drink he asked me "what size" so I assumed they had it and just never took off the sign. Once I said large he just started aggressively pointing at the sign and yelling at me to read it. If they no large cups what was the point of asking me what size if they only had one size available. Even after placing an order, I still WAITED 35 mins BEFORE I GOT MY DRINK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE!!! unless you want to waste your money, they're milk tea wasn't good either.
