Excellent location, the place is cozy and it is worthwhile to stop by and enjoy the food and coffee, and read a good book.

My wife and I often go for a run and after stop by crossroads cafe, which is one of our favorite places, for a meal. The people that work there are wonderful and the food is always great. Our favourite is the breakfast panini and also breakfast special. And for a desert the hot fudge sunday is unbeatable. But we don't just love the food we love the heart behind delaancey street and how they give people a second chance in life. Google their story and what they do and I promise, you will be inspired. All the money they make with cafe restaurant etc go straight back into their program. If you want good food, support an amazing cause and have a really wonderful time, have a meal at the cafe or also a nice sit down dinner at their restaurant. What is also great that everything is reasonable priced.

Great location for tasty Cafe food. I like it here always quality food & service. Prices are reasonable I would say. Food and feeling reminds me of Kansas City.

Beautiful place. Very roomy even has a gorgeous patio where you can people watch on the embarcadero. They make great hot breakfast sandwiches and I usually have a delicious fruit smoothie in the afternoon. You can also do some gift shopping or buy a good book in their bookstore.

We had a very nice lunch here yesterday! The food is excellent - fresh sandwiches, excellent baked goods, a variety of freshly squeezed juices, an astonishing selection of teas, and more. The service is first-rate with a friendly, attentive staff. And the prices are very reasonable - particularly for San Francisco. If you're going to the ballpark, or taking a stroll on the Embarcadero, stop in for coffee and a snack or for a nice meal. On a sunny day sit in the large courtyard.

I love the location and the atmosphere and have been coming here for half a dozen years.

This was one of my favorite places near my house. Decent affordable food. Unfortunately I feel like service is lacking recently. Cutlery was simply filthy last time I went. I tried at least 6 forks before finding a clean one. And even that I couldn't trust and cleaned by myself. Crepes are much smaller than they used to be as well. It saddens me greatly but I don't think I'll be coming back.

Decent grilled cheese, smoothie was nice. Unfortunately staff at counter seemed high. Pidgeon walked in and ate crumbs around the cafe.

If you like a cafe that serves great grilled sandwiches and coffees, this is a very convenient place to visit. The staff are friendly and the place is also dog friendly. We loved the breakfast panini and the grilled tuna and cheese sandwich. Cafe au lait is a good choice here too. Oh! and the best part is the comfy feel of a "book store". Only thing I can recommend is that they change cushion covers as mos of the chair cushions are badly stained!

Amazing prices and decent service. However it's really sad they closed down the backyard they have. Kids and animals used to play here all the time, until one day one kid broke a statue. Afterwards they fenced the area so we can just look. What's the point of having a backyard we can't use?
