Must-try if you are real Asian: garlic noodle, crab noodle, wagyu rice
If you are non-Asian: add appetizers! (Spring rolls)

You can't go wrong at Crustacean. I call it elevated Vietnamese cuisine. It's always a hit with friendly staff, great upscale vibe, excellent chef creations beautifully presented, and bar service rivaling top bars I've seen worldwide. This spot is in demand so make your reservations in advance.

Gorgeous restaurant serving modern Vietnamese food, specializing in crab.
We ordered a couple of cocktails which were all delicious, on the sweeter side, but that’s my preference anyways.
As for dishes, we did family style and had the bo kho dumplings (delicious), fried calamari (nothing special but still good), roasted cauliflower and Brussels (sweet and roasted), garlic crab with no shell (must order), garlic noodles (must order), shaken beef (also delicious), and seafood fried rice (basic but good).
Prices are definitely on the steeper end, but that’s expected given the location. There’s an option to have your crab cracked with no shell for an additional $10, which I think is well worth it.
Would definitely come back again!

Very delicious crab! It is the first time for me to visit the new locations. It is much closer to the downtown SF.
Had a great lunch with 2 old friends and will definitely return. We sat in a booth at the back and had a great meal and conversation together. We tried several small plates, famous garlic noodles and a couple of desserts. Fun to sample so many great dishes and the sauces were well paired.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Our server Natty was absolutely fantastic. She was very friendly and helpful with guiding us through the menu. We enjoyed Money Bag Dumplings for Lunar New Year, Garlic Dungeness Crab and Garlic Noodles. The food and service was Excellent! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this establishment to family and friends. Thank you Natty for being our server!
We were so excited to try Crustacean in its new SF location. It's a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and a wonderfully priced wine list. We'll certainly return. It's a must visit if you are in the Bay Area. Make reservations early, they fill up fast.
The new place in spacious with high ceilings. The decor is modern with some patronage to the family culture, bamboo weaving in the wall and seat decorations. We enjoyed the Valentine Day Dinner: Garlic Roasted Crab, Drunken beef, garlic noodles, seafood fried rice. Delish!

The food was great! I love the new look! And overall it was a really amazing experience as always!
Superb food and pacing. Bar service could use improvement. Slow to communicate when wine was out of stock, we selected a second bottle that also was out of stock (notified 2 courses later). Ended up skipping altogether because our meal was wrapping up. Great food, hopefully just a blip on inventory and bar communication.
As always, Crustacrean's food is delicious. Their new space on Pine at Battery in San Francisco is beautiful and comfortable. The main dining room was buzzing with many guests clearly enjoying their meals. It's fine dining at it's best.
Kicked the meal off with some delicious lychee martinis :) ordered a bit of everything from the menu. The tuna cigars were standout and one of the best bites of the night. Pro tip: order the glass noodles in addition to the traditional noodles and mix the crabmeat / butter sauce into them. The extra $10 to deshell the crab is 100% worth it. Definitely save room for the baked Alaska as it was the best I’ve ever had!!

The customer service was excellent. The food is always hot and fresh. I am very proud when I introduce this place to others. The recipe cannot be duplicated. I have been a customer for 30yrs.
