I have been dining at the original Crustaceans restaurant for over 30 years. From 1st dates to special celebrations and more. I was SHOCKED when it closed. Then I was delighted and wowed by this new Crustacean restaurant. Improved menu, with the traditional classic world famous Roasted Crab & Garlic Noodles. This new spot is the NEXT LEVEL of opulence and enjoyment. I look forward to at least 30 more years of loyal patronage. My only dig is they have no loyalty program...
Probably a first Vietnamese fine dining restaurant that I had an opportunity to try. Located in prime financial district of San Francisco, Crutacean is a great option for business meals.
We tried the dumplings and they were delicious. I had the garlic noodles which was tad bit dry, it made a good combination with chicken skewers.
The ambience is fantastic and the service is top notch as you’d expect from a place like this. Worth a shot.

We had lunch at Crustacean and ordered the mango salad, calamari, shaken beef, garlic noodles, and wagyu fried rice. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. The shaken beef was on the tough side, and the sauce leaned too heavily on soy or fish sauce, making it overly salty. The wagyu fried rice was greasy, and the texture of the rice came out soggy rather than fluffy. The garlic noodles were decent, but nothing particularly memorable.
