The nasi lemak was really, really bad. The rice was undercooked and had a hard centre. The sambal was barely spicy. Chicken was tender but didn’t taste seasoned. Bad sambal made everything bland. I’m not an expert on Singaporean food but have had nasi lemak in Malaysia and elsewhere that were orders of magnitude better at a fraction of the price. Do not recommend.

I've never had Singaporean food in my life and was unsure if I'll like it. The food here was amazing through 😍😍😍 Alex, at the counter, was very friendly, helping me choose the food right for my European palette. I've been there twice already. If I'm back in SF, I'll come again

The food was terrible. The Lhasa noodles were completely off—the sauce was wrong and didn't go with the noodles at all. It was inedible. I hope you can reevaluate how this dish is made.

Went here since I was in town for a conference and got excited to try some new cuisine. The nasi lemak was excellent and something I’d order again.

Took 45 minutes to get some stir fried noodles, along with numerous other increasingly impatient customers. Chicken rice seemed to move a lot faster, and front staff were very apologetic, but this place needs to hire more people to lay any claim to *fast* food.

very solid noodles, laksa and chow fun were both very flavorful, the noodles were bouncy and perfectly cooked. i’m impressed with this food court meal!

Fantastic vegan laksa. An utter surprise, particularly at a food court in the Metreon helmed by a guy with a German?Swiss?Austrian?accent. The depth and richness of the mushroom based broth was so so good. I don’t think it needs the tofu puffs. Very large portion size so I took the leftovers, even knowing the noodles would soak up the broth. Didn’t care because the flavor was so good. I’m not a vegan and would go out of my way for this version. Terrific. Staff is very organized for the busy take-out and dine-in at lunch time.

Been to Singapore multiple times and I can say this is definitely authentic and delicious! Tastes exactly like what you’ll get at a hawker center

3.5 stars. I will preface this review by saying that we have eaten traditional Singaporean food in the food stalls in Singapore, so I am judging this food by much higher standards than expected.

Dabao is a good stall in the mall. The guy at the service counter is super energetic and friendly. The whole place isn't much to look at, but don't let that stop you because this food is pretty good! Would it service in the food stalls in Singapore? Probably not, but if you have never had Singaporean food or if you have a craving for that food once in a while, these guys come pretty close.

We ordered the chaw kway Teow and the hainanese chicken and rice. The char kway Teow was good but the noodles needed to be more fried. It wasn't spicy by itself. The sauce they provided had a slight kick, but not enough. I'm sure that most people would like the sauce, but just remember that the authentic stuff is way spicier than this was.

The hainanese chicken was fine. It wasn't amazing. The sauces (the garlic one particularly) helped the rice immensely. It came with a soup which was delicious. We enjoyed it but we know it can be better.

All in all, this was a good tribute to the amazing food stall scene of Singapore and I'm glad we came here. We just think a little more work is needed!

Laksa came with generous amount of rice vermicelli noodles, tofu, and fish balls. I’ve had real Laksa in Singapore. This is decent but broth is missing something in the flavor.
