Waitress was inattentive and slow even though they were at their busiest time on a Friday night. As for the drinks, no one in our group of three liked them

Rude bartender, average drinks
are the workers here okay? is this a kink bar for getting negged? why are they so aggressive and rude? the people in my party had actual anxiety triggered by the bartender’s meanness.
been here twice and the energy was so hostile it actually came full circle and made me laugh - wish I could say the same for my friends though. always happened at the front bar - seems it’s more chill in every way in the back. I hope they’re getting paid enough bc I have no other explanation for the terrible attitudes.

Drinks are delicious in spite of the spare atmosphere.

Pretty good drink, music was loud so couldn't talk much. Bouncer was cool
Angry bartenders
Skanky toilets
Lame cocktails
Far better options than this in the Mission

overpriced drink, all ice
The ID Security person was reading Sylvia Plath’s semi-autobiographical novel “The Bell Jar” with a clip-on-booklight when we handed her our IDs, and that should tell you everything you need to know about this hidden gem. It takes itself seriously as a sophisticated bar with just a hint of pretentiousness that is, admittedly, well-earned: the drinks are good, and they know they’re good.
The dim lighting adds to the swanky mood of a 1960’s Southwestern parlor which was the perfect vibe for our date night. It honestly felt like walking into my trendy older cousin’s first apartment after she graduated college: it was tastefully decorated by someone who finally had the money to execute their vision and to do it right.
The cocktail menu leans towards more mature flavors, so this isn’t the place to go if you’re looking for really fruity or flirty drinks. Instead, these drinks are thoughtfully constructed into something you’ll want to slowly slip throughout conversation.
Ultimately, we asked the bartender for her recommendations, and it was the best thing we could have done — 10/10 for both cocktails (Public Sesame #1 and New Wave Fix).
The Public Sesame #1 scratched my itch for a Negroni, but with an interesting nutty overtone from the sesame flavor. The giant ice cube really elevated the presentation, and I enjoyed seeing it slowly melt as I sipped away at it.
The New Wave Fix is not a bad choice if you want something sweeter and easier to drink, though it is deceptively complex — the sweet and sour pineapple is rounded out with the toasted-coconut liqueur. It tastes foamy and creamy without being heavy at all.
With all the various restaurants, venues, and shops around the area, Dalva is a must-try before or after another event. Will be back for another nightcap soon!

Probably one of my favorite bars in the Mission where you can relax, vibe with friends, but still with upbeat music but not too loud. And the drinks are really good!

Atmosphere was great and bartender was attentive and nice. This space was clean did and not smell like a dirty regular bar. I recommend for a small outing 3-4 people .

Nice place
Nice place
Went here in early 2023 to grab drinks with friends. My friend went to use the restroom, an older white woman became visibly annoyed while she had to wait. When my friend finally came out of the bathroom, the older white woman made a rude comment to my friend. When the woman was done with the bathroom she walked by our table and made another rude comment. I went over to the bartenders and told them what just happened. One of the bartenders replied this is my friend and did not do anything. None of the bartenders even cared for us and did not care that their customer was being rude to us. The bartender at the bar continued to talk to the woman. If you're a POC, avoid this place. Bartenders will make you feel like it's your fault that their friends are being rude to you. If you’re white, they’ll probably treat you better just like how nicely they treated the white woman.
