Poor customer service, horrible pizza absolutely overloaded with tomato sauce and hardly any cheese on it, I left half of the pizza
Very disappointed

Ordered the sausage pizza to go. It was so soaked in water I had to use 3 napkins to sop it up just to make it edible. The flavors were good but come on, having that much water destroys the crust and experience.

The ambiance inside is really great, but this isn’t the place to go for good pizza.

The pizzas were very good. The fries were good but nothing special. We got a table on the back patio and glad we did. It would have been too loud inside.

I’m Italian and I’d never expected to say this but this is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my whole life. I will never forget my feelings while eating it.

We were really excited to try Del Popolo, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The restaurant was full, so we decided to order to-go — they didn’t have pepperoni, so we went with Margherita. Unfortunately, it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The dough was extremely sour, and the sauce was so salty it overpowered everything. I rarely write bad reviews and usually enjoy almost any pizza, but this was a complete miss. Sadly, it felt like a total waste of money.

Pizza is too expensive and it is average. Think there are better places where you can find better pizza for less

Can in for a quick dinner before seeing a show and service was super quick and friendly. Charred beans were delicious and the potato pizza was a great mix of flavors. Food came out quickly and back patio was so nice! Great atmosphere.

Solid pizza + wine bar near the SF Masonic.

Came with a friend around 5:30 p.m. on a Thursday. I recommend making reservations, as they fill up quickly, even on weeknights! The weather was beautiful, so we snagged a table in their garden patio.

We ordered meatballs and the shishito peppers to start, and corn pizza to share. For drinks, my friend ordered a glass of their Vouvray Chenin Blanc, while I took advantage of their non-alcoholic options and tried an NA Negroni and a glass of their NA Riesling.
The wines (both regular and NA) were top-tier, especially the Riesling which paired perfectly with the pizza. However, I could pass on the NA Negroni next time. While it was beautiful to look at, it lacked flavor and was too sweet for my taste.

The meatballs were surprisingly amazing. They had a rich, savory flavor and were definitely worthy of a repeat order. The pizza crust had a nice chewy char, but the jalapeno and corn flavor combination was a bit boring. The sweetness from the corn felt flat, almost like canned kernels sprinkled on top after the pizza was baked. Perhaps charring the corn beforehand would elevate the flavors here?

Overall, Del Popolo is a solid dinner spot if you're already in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't go out of my way for a visit. If you go, enjoy the wine selection and those meatballs!

Pizza was a hot wet chewy mess of dough.
Servers have no idea what they are serving. Pretty uncomfortable space. Zero clue what the hype is… serious maybe one of the weakest Napolitana pizzas I have ever had. Their frozen pizza is far superior.

THE BEST WOOD FIRE PIZZA I’VE EVER HAD! Hats off to the guys stretching the dough bc it’s not chewy at all even to the last bite. I got the pepperoni and the tomato sauce was exquisite. I also added red onions which gave me a one way ticket to flavor town. Don’t hesitate to come here as the staff (shout out to Jordan) is also super friendly!

Amazing! Discovered it during a stay at the Fairmont up the street. Was joining for authentic Italian and was not disappointed. Excellent food, staff and vibe! Can’t wait to go back.

Pizza was great! Only minor issue I had was that the mushroom pizza texture didn’t feel like it matched what I wanted. Mushroom was really chewy. Apparently it’s supposed to be like that so maybe just a personal preference.

Ice cream was phenomenal
