Food was great. Would be nice to have chairs with a back on them. Overall, the place was really clean. Server was good. The food was exceptional, which is the most important thing location incredible.
Everything was delicious! Servers were very slow and infrequent to check in so we waited a while to close out
The food was not good. Not tasty; pizza overcooked, and like cardboard. Service was fine. Fine location.
Pretty solid food, good happy hour menu and a great place for groups. I took my whole family there and they loved it. The meatballs are a must!
Good food, horrible service. We had a large group and it was so complicated to get a reservation. Then when we finally did we were seated at a table that was larger than our party. Fine. Then i had ordered ahead like I was asked since it was over 12 people and the pizzas took 35 minutes to come out. It was difficult to order drinks or anything additional.
Always an excellent choice for our Daytrippers outing when we visit the SFMOMA. We were able to make a last minute reservation and had a 10 star experience!!
The calamari was so overcooked we sent it back and they took it off the bill. The crab balls undercooked and seemingly raw on the inside and tasted only very slightly of crab. The pizza was good. The seafood pasta looked like it had come out of a freezer case . The wine by the glass was ridiculously overpriced, poor quality, and small. I'll never come back.
Came here for a brunch/early lunch at 11:30am on a Sunday. Hip-hop/R&B music was cranked up so loud that it was nearly impossible to have a conversation with the friend sitting directly across my table. The music was turned down a bit when we put in that request to the server. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but our server did not circulate by our table after delivering the food. No checking in to see if we wanted drink refills (we did) and we had to flag him down to get our check. The food was very good so it's a shame that the service and ambience was not up to par. Hopefully, this can be tightened up.
This was some of the worst service I have ever received. Rude server, we had to ask 2 times for our drinks and never once did we hear a reason why or even a simple “I'm sorry”. One of the drinks tasted terrible once they did come. Food was actually very good but the service was terrible. Would not recommend.
The food at Delarosa was great overall. We started with the meatballs and shared a beet salad—both were delicious, but the beet salad was a real standout for me. We followed that with “The Bartender” pizza and finished with the tiramisu, which was light, creamy, and the perfect ending to the meal. I also had a glass of their Cabernet blend it was smooth, rich, and very easy to enjoy. After dinner, we headed over to the bar, where I had one more glass of wine. The bartender was friendly and welcoming; definitely one of the highlights of the service side of things. That said, what took away from the experience was the overall service from the waitstaff. The servers didn't seem particularly happy to be there—walking around with frowns and offering little to no engagement. Most interactions felt rushed. We'd get a quick “Good?” at the table before the server would disappear again, often before we had a chance to respond or request anything. Toward the end of the meal, I finished my wine and the server came by and whisked away the glass without asking if I wanted another. It felt impersonal and inattentive. Ironically, the happiest people in the whole place seemed to be the chefs. You could see them working behind the counter, clearly putting care and energy into every dish. So a huge thank you to the kitchen staff—they were the heart of the evening. I'd would return for the food, I usually go to the Delarosa in the Marina anyway. But I do hope the front-of-house team works on bringing a little more warmth and attentiveness to the guest experience. With food this good, the service should be just as memorable.

Booked a table for 14 or a work event. We were seated on time, later arrivals were smoothly accommodated, service was responsive and friendly, food and wine were excellent. Highly recommended.
The location is great , the waitstaff friendly and efficient and the pizzas are delicious.
I've been a regular at Delarosa for a while now because they consistently deliver excellent service and delicious food. It's one of my go-to spots, and I've recommended it to friends and family more times than I can count. However, my most recent visit was disappointing. I had received an email promotion about a special brunch, and I made a reservation at the location specifically listed in the email for my partner's birthday. We were both looking forward to it, but when we arrived, we were told the promotion wasn't available at that location—it was only being offered elsewhere. This completely caught us off guard, especially since the email clearly mentioned the location we were at. The manager did explain the situation, but it didn't do much to ease the frustration. This wasn't just any visit—it was a birthday celebration. Because of the mix-up, we had to quickly rethink our plans, which put a damper on the day and caused a delay in our schedule. While I still think highly of the restaurant overall and will probably return, this experience was a letdown. I hope future promotions are communicated more clearly to avoid this kind of confusion for others.
Good food. Nice waitress. Our drinks weren't served until after the food was served. A little noisy but we are seniors and more sensitive to the noise
Pensé que la comida estaría mejor pero la verdad estuvo muy normal, nada del otro mundo. Mucho ruido dentro del restaurante
