“After walking the ever so steep San Francisco Hills in this area on the way to China Town, I stumbled upon a quaint little food shop with a tiny little woman by the name of Jasmin.

Entering you are greeted so warmly and kindly.

Her restaurant is not so big. The menu is big and obvious with all the ingredients posted. She serves beer and the theme of the place is very nice.

After taking the order, she quickly hopped over to her cooking area and whipped out the order as quickly and efficiently as it could be. When I got there, a few people trailed right after me and she served them just as well she had her system down.

If you're in the area, I would highly suggest dropping by and picking up a quick bite at Jasmins. ?“

I'm a pretty no frills guy, and in that respect, the food was on point. Hashbrown were perfectly crispy, bacon was perfectly rendered and great to munch on, and the biscuts and gravy were as awesome as comfort food as I grew up with. The scrambled eggs were not overcooked or dry. I just wish I had some tabasco sauce to eat it with. Kudos for earning me as a returning customer after one trip.“

“This is an absolute gem of a place. If you want that authentic diner feel with great food and great service then head over to David’s. Yes it may be a bit run down and yes it’s not in the greatest area of town but the food and the service are second to none. George was super friendly and attentive without ever actually interrupting us while having our breakfast. He answered all of our questions, he took time to have a chat with us and generally made us fell special.“

“Such a cute little diner. Barstools and two to four person tables. Got there at noon, could take a seat wherever, and from order in my food I was served 7 minutes later. My waffle with strawberries and whipped cream was delightful. Definition of a mom and pop joint - two up front, one cook in the back. There were some regulars who the owners knew and greeted by name - everyone was very friendly. If laid back classic American breakfast fare is your deal I would highly recommend.“

“Small restaurant located on Taravel outer sunset. It was my first time eating here and won't be my last! Service was great and friendly. We got a bunch of different dishes, my favorite is their soy sauce chicken. I loved the saltiness of it.

They also have some already made Asian savory snacks to go and have duck/cha siu/chicken...

My family didn't know they close at 6:30pm and we got there at 6pm. They were very friendly the whole time and we were the last table to leave. My family thought it was weird they were cleaning up and some workers were leaving, we didn't think it's because they actually closed. We thanked everyone at the end and the person chopping the meats at the front was so kind and actually thanked us for coming to support their business it was such a cute and wholesome moment.

“We are on a quick trip to San Francisco and wanted to drop by a local joint for lunch. We picked this place at random and are soooo glad we did. It has such a casual vibe and the food is amazing. It's very friendly and down to earth and feels like you're stopping by a friend's place to eat. We couldn't make up our mind, so we ordered burgers and pancakes. 10/10, would definitely come back.“
