One time, while staying in Union Square, I found this restaurant. At the time, I was hesitant to dine here because I'm allergic to seafood. However, the staff did a great job of making sure there was no trace of seafood in my meal. I would say the food here is authentic Japanese. The Udon soup was pleasant and appetizing. My new favorite spot in downtown for lunch. Great fresh sushi hand rolls. Yet the menu is limited to few different fishes but still so good. I love the yellowtail and halibut is soooooo good.

Ok. This is one of those little Hole-in-the-Wall restaurants you always hope you’ll find when you travel, that completely surprises you and is so good you eat too much and roll out of the restaurant. We had Tempura Udon that was to die for! The Gyozas are tremendous, and literally everything we ordered was fantastic! Highly recommend!!
