My new favorite spot in downtown for lunch. Great fresh sushi hand rolls. Yet the menu is limited to few different fishes but still so good. I love the yellowtail and halibut is soooooo good.

Ok. This is one of those little Hole-in-the-Wall restaurants you always hope you’ll find when you travel, that completely surprises you and is so good you eat too much and roll out of the restaurant. We had Tempura Udon that was to die for! The Gyozas are tremendous, and literally everything we ordered was fantastic! Highly recommend!!

If you could give it 3 and a half I would. It's just not quite good enough for 4 stars. Decent but you can get quite a bit better sashimi close by for not a lot more.

This place was small and cozy with friendly prices.

I sent my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is delicious and the team is very friendly and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we have a gorgeous time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

We went for a walk in Chinatown and walked by this Japanese style restaurant on our way back. The interior was plain and obviously Chinese run. We ordered a Tempura special and a sushi nigiri deluxe special. The service was curt and slow. The salads came wilted and the sesame dressing less than fresh. The Tempura came out quite oily and obviously not drained. The sushi was disappointing at best. The sushi rice was way off and the fish seemed less than fresh. We left disappointed and unsatisfied.

This is a great hole in the wall Japanese diner! They have fantastic udon and donburi. I highly recommend stopping by!

Been there 2 times now, food is just really good. I had the karaage this time around and was light tasting but lots of flavour and so juicy and good amount of crunch. Happy my coworker recommended this place.

I know its San Francisco and it has the best of all the Asian cuisines, but this little spot is so popular among the locals, I had to try it. Read the specials on the board, and let the waitresses pick for you. You cant go wrong with anything!

Non descript from the street, open door into small space, sushi counter to the left, tables to the right. Gets busy especially at lunch. So many choices, busy so waiting expected, order and food appears well paced. Been here many times, always good. Enjoy!

Probably the best value Japanese food in all of SF hands down. Their portions are very generous too. Highly recommend. Only problem is that they don’t have an AC so during some days of the summer it may be a little hot inside

Very quaint hole-in-the-wall, busy but fast! I only ordered sides - edamame, seaweed salad & green tea. All very tasty and very reasonably priced.

Good value. Stopped in for a quick soba soup bowl. Nothing fancy but hits the spot while shopping in the area.

The same as most other sushi places around Union Square this place should have been updated 25 years ago. But this place is generous size sushi (rice and topping), it is served at good temperature and us fresh. If you are after low cost good, standard sushi this is the place to go.

Small Japanese restaurant with very well priced sushi specials. We had to wait in line for about 10 minutes late on Friday night and service was a bit slow but the food was tasty and sushi tasted fresh.
