I have been here 5 times and always enjoy it! It’s a solid, intimate spot for high quality sushi. On my most recent visit Frankie was playing Renaissance by Beyoncé on repeat and the ambience had never been better. Immaculate music taste! Will definitely be back.

Such a wonderful and cute place with high quality sushi and maki! We loved every minute of it, and I’ve been back several times. I particularly love that it has an indoor and outdoor seating area and most of all, that it’s quiet to hold a conversation comfortably! What a rare joy in the city!?

Sushi here is always amazing! Always good portions and the sushi is always top grade! It’s a bit on the pricey side($16-20 per 8 piece roll) but it’s mostly worth it! I’ve been here multiple times and it has always treated me well! It is a smaller location so sometimes there’s a wait but no other complaints!

Not a positive sushi experience. Owner was rude and you’d be best taking your business elsewhere.

As an inexperienced anybody with not enough followers to be worthy of leaving a review on this restaurant the food was actually pretty good!

From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. The service struck that perfect balance of warm and attentive without being overbearing. Every recommendation they made felt spot-on, and you can tell they actually love what they’re serving.
But let’s talk about the food—because wow. This isn’t your standard sushi spot; it’s fusion done with real creativity and respect for tradition. Each dish was beautifully plated, almost too pretty to eat, and the flavors were layered in a way that kept surprising me with every bite. The rolls had a perfect balance of fresh fish, inventive toppings, and just the right kick of spice. Even the small plates were incredible—thoughtfully seasoned, balanced, and clearly crafted with skill.
The sushi chef is an artist in the truest sense. You can taste the passion and precision in every dish. It’s rare to find a chef who can push boundaries while still honoring the essence of sushi, but that’s exactly what’s happening here.
Bottom line: if you want sushi that’s playful, refined, and absolutely unforgettable, Domo is the place. Huge praise to the chef and the entire team for creating such a special dining experience—I’m already planning my next visit.
To the low follower influencer that was crying about her spoiled childhood, find someone else to bully.

One of my favorite restaurants, super friendly, always been treated super respectfully, high quality food, reasonable prices. Can’t go wrong, no need to pay attention to all the 1 stars it’s over another restaurant controversy, not representative of any of my domo experiences.

One of the best foodie experiences without breaking the bank. Lucky to live in Hayes Valley where there are several options, but this is one of the best places I have frequented. The fish selection is top notch, I usually get the 12 piece Omakase and it is heavenly.

Yall need to update your hours!!! Came all the way across town for a date, to find yall closed… real bummer!
Would highly recommended the daily special fishes for nigiri/sashimi. Just happened on this spot for lunch when we were walking and the quality, cut and taste of the fish was exceptional. Also did a great job accommodating GF allergy.

The absolute worst quality sushi I have ever had in my life. I truly believe the quality compares to canned tuna. The crab is shredded and stomach turning. I love sushi and came close to gagging. Please do not waste your time or money.
