Solid pick for dumpling take-out. The soup dumplings are always juicy, BBQ pork buns savory, spring rolls are perhaps the best crispy variety I've had in the city, and the General Tso's Orange Chicken is not bad either.

Was in the mood for some Chinese food while house-sitting in the city and found this place on Doordash. At first I thought it looked a bit pricey, but when I was shocked to see that the portions were pretty huge! My husband and I were able to eat our dishes for dinner, lunch the next day, as well as a little snack. When I got my order, everything was piping hot so you know it was made fresh! Chubby Shanghai: I liked the texture of the noodles, but there was something missing flavor-wise. Not sure if it would've been better had I opted to add in a protein? Dumplings in Chili Oil Sauce: Delicious with a kick! If you're sensitive to spicy foods, I would order and eat this with caution. General Tso's Orange Chicken: A classic, and my favorite dish out of the order. You get SO many pieces of chicken and I loved that some of the breading on the orange chicken was still crispy. The amount of sauce they added was perfect and not overdone at all! I think I would have preferred rice over the Chubby Shanghai Noodles since this was packed full of saucy flavor. Overall I would rate this place a 4.5 and would definitely order from them again. They don't have an abundance of dishes like other Chinese restaurants, but I think that's part of the appeal for me - especially when you're starving and don't want to think too hard about what you want to eat. You just know you want some great quality food!

I just ordered the Wor Wonton Soup for delivery and was SO in love with it that I had to immediately write a review. I have been scouring all over SF for a Chinese restaurant that serves wontons without shrimp. Not only are Dumpling Baby's wontons pork & veggies only, but it was SO delicious and satisfying. The Wor Wonton Soup came with 14 (!!) pieces of pork & vegetable wontons that are generously sized and in a clean, heartwarming chicken broth. It also came with a big box of fresh veggies & mushrooms for you to add to the soup yourself! I can't express how much this hit the spot for me on a cold day. Furthermore... a meal that is clean, healthy, delicious, and filling is so hard to find... but they nailed it!! I'm already planning on ordering the exact same thing tomorrow :) P.S. My picture does not do it justice.

Most items are very good a few items we didn't like the chubby noodles and the Kung pao was ok not great.

The food is fantastic! Bursting with flavor throughout. The dumplings may be small, but they pack a punch. Service is swift with orders. The cashier or owner (not very clear) isn't overly friendly, so ensure you're clear on your order when you arrive. Also, remember to request utensils and hot sauce (if you desire some heat) before leaving.

Their food is good . I have tried it several times mainl'y because they are open to 10 pm. They opened up during the pandemic when everyone else was closing . That sort of bothers me but I still patronize them on occasion. They are not too friendly it's take out only cut and dry. They offer delivery I'm not sure if it's their delivery or a service which makes a big difference. They are sometimes out of rice which is strange for an Asian place but that happens I suppose. I go to this place when I'm in the mood a near by .

The food is all that matters, and it is fantastic at this cutely named restaurant. The limited seating, with some tables facing walls, initially surprised us. The room's design left me unsure whether it was solely for take-out or if guests could sit and eat. However, the no-fuss ambiance emphasized the primary focus on the food. When we asked about recommendations, the owner simply responded, "everything is good here," which wasn't overly helpful, but given the emphasis on the quality of the Chinese cuisine, customer service took a backseat. The star of the show was the food. The orange chicken featured sizable chicken chunks, and the fried rice with fresh vegetables, as well as the pork and scrambled eggs, were equally delicious. A standout was the exceptional vegetable dish. Despite the initially unclear seating arrangement, we chose to dine in. While the atmosphere lacked frills, the food was the main attraction, and that's what truly mattered to us.

We had clearly asked for Teriyaki Chicken Buns and they clearly served us pork buns and when we asked they said it’s BBQ Chicken Buns but there is no BBQ Chicken buns so I don’t even know what the person was talking about?
