Bartender was very kind and attentive. We hung out for 3-4 hours. Let us bring in dessert from a nearby mochi place. He was nice and helpful the whole time. Will definitely return.
I’m not much of a bar person, but I love this place. By far the best fish and chips I’ve found in San Francisco, plus they have really tasty honey mustard sauce that they also make in-house. The staff and other patrons are always super friendly and talkative, it definitely has a friendly, homey vibe to it. Plus the fireplace is wonderfully cozy.

We ordered a couple of drinks.
Not realising they dont do digital nfc payments, until afterwards.
Explained our situation that the cards were 35 minutes away in our hotel.
She kindly offered the drinks for free.
Felt totally embarrassed and thanked her profoundly.
