January 2025:
Stopped by for lunch and tried the chicken sandwich. I had thought it was going to be similar to a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich. It was different... Okay sandwich. Chicken was a bit too salty.

My Mom had a biscuit and a side of salmon. She had been here before and knew what to order. I tried the biscuit and thought it was very tasty 😋. I'd come back again for more biscuits.

Potatoes are phenomenal (6/5) but I didn’t like the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with the sauerkraut slaw (3/5)

- the straight up sauerkraut was too strong for the sandwich, I normally like it as a condiment and not as the primary flavor profile

Also I ordered fried chicken sandwich while pointing at the menu, they gave me a grilled chicken sandwich, and then were like “sorry I thought you said Thai chicken.” (What??)

So I had to wait a long time, twice, for my food cus prep is slow even when it’s not busy.

Minus 2 stars for wrong order and slow correction all while during a slow weekday for a one item order — that’s table stakes

Plus .25 stars for giving me extra potatoes because they missed some when the chef hand scooped the ones from the original plate into a separate bowl
- cus I never got back the original plate with the remaining potatoes
- also I had to ask to get started with the potatoes when they first took the dish back. I was so hungry

Note: had leftovers (cus I could only stomach like 4 bites of the sandwich and I hate food waste) and put everything in the air fryer since I was looking forward to just the chicken. But surprisingly the air fryer cut the pungency of the sauerkraut (maybe it dried out the vinegar) and it was enjoyable to eat the next day

Every dish we ordered was delicious. Gravy and biscuit, fried egg sandwich, sweet biscuit, French toast. The fried potatoes were amazing. The Equator coffee was so smooth! We were just in the area and happened to stop for lunch!

Came here for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning but the wait was not too long. Amazing service and food. The toast is so good, eggs are excellent, and I highly recommend the pancakes.

This neighborhood gem is the perfect spot to grab breakfast or lunch. Their food is always incredible and the service is great. We stopped in for lunch since we were in the neighborhood after a doctor’s appointment. We each ordered a version of their chicken sandwich, one grilled and one fried. For sides we got 1/2 potatoes and 1/2 salad. Perfectly prepared and both were delicious. Highly recommend trying EATS! Sometimes there is a little wait, but it is always worth it.

The food was good, the pancakes I had ordered tasted like standard pancakes, nothing out of the ordinary. However my boyfriend ordered a plate w potatoes and those tasted really good! Mostly leaving a 3 star review because we were charged $7 or $8 for a small cup of orange juice that wasn’t even the size of a grande at starbucks.

I can’t explain how I loved to have brunch here. The principal reason is because I was able to eat delicious food and also healthy, I ordered scrambled eggs, with salad (you could also choose potatoes) and added ALMOND FLOUR PANCAKES! So if you eat GLUTEN FREE this is your spot!
From the kids manu we ordered “Fluffy pancakes” they were really fluffy! Everything was tasty and you could tell they use really good ingredients. Definitely coming back again!
The only 2 things would be they take so long to bring the check, and then the card (because they are busy) and if you decide to eat inside the restaurant it could be a little bit loud for an overstimulated person, in that case I would recommend to eat outside, the services was good overall.
