Excellent wine bar near the symphony and opera. Small but fun list of wines by the glass. Didn’t get to the wines by the bottle.

This has got to have been the worst experience I've ever had in a wine bar in a big city.

The wine choices are extremely limited and uninspiring. However they charge a lot of money for each glass. The pourings are smaller than you would get at other competing wine bars and even less than places like KL wines where for the exact same price as one glass here you get 6 glasses there.

Be very cautious about their 18% required tip that they say is for the staff. What staff? The place was 100% only the owner so basically the menu price is a lie as it is actually 18% higher and you have no choice.

If you look around San Francisco especially in the market street all the way up to union square area it will notice that the city is dead. Many of the businesses there died in large part because they were a rip-off. San Francisco well overcharges for things like this and comes up with an excuse that the city raises prices as a sense of community. No they raise the prices because they are greedy.

I brought a friend and he asked a question and was immediately attacked by another customer and the owner did nothing but make excuses that the 18% is critical. No the 18% is not critical. The 18% is your silly excuse to raise prices. The owner even insulted my friend.

Given the economic disaster that is now currently San Francisco you will find Better deals elsewhere. Go to K & L wines And you will get 6 glasses of wine for $10 or $15 sometimes on weekends. Expect to pay $25 for a single glass here.... And get insulted in the process.

Low end wines, small selection, very high prices. There are much better places to go.

This little bar is such a hidden gem! The owner personally curates her own wines, and you can really taste the passion and knowledge in every glass. The wine membership is also incredible—thoughtfully selected bottles that make it feel like a mini wine journey each month. The cheese plate is absolutely divine. The selection is beautifully presented (just look at those delicate cheese shavings!) and perfectly paired with crispy crackers and a rich fruit chutney. Every bite is a mix of texture and flavor that balances wonderfully with the wines. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed evening, whether you’re here for a casual drink or celebrating something special. Between the amazing service, the curated wines, and the mouthwatering cheese, this is easily one of the best local spots around. Highly recommend!

The interior design is pretty nice. The whole vibe is good for dating. The wine selection and service could be a bit better, though.

Stopped in here for a drink before we headed out for food and honestly wish we had more time here. Its a cute little spot tucked away but has the feel of some super famous wine bar. The wine selection itself was very impressive and the staff was very knowledgable to make the right recommendations. The vibe inside is also great and you can tell the people responsible wanted to create a warm/cozy feeling spot!

Best date spot and chill vibes. Off the main street so it's never to noisy or crowded, it's just right. I'm a regular.

Sophisticated and stylish bar, and yet grounded! We stumbled in after a truly dire show and were seated promptly; care and attention were dispatched; conversation flowed, lighting was so soft that everyone and their spouses looked trim and beautiful. Drinks were so strong we forgot we saw a bad show.

We visited on a weekday as a group of two. The service was poor and felt a bit rushed. The ambiance is definitely nice, but the dishes weren’t particularly impressive, even for a wine bar. The wines, however, were excellent. An 18% mandatory gratuity was added, which felt a bit odd given the service (our water was never refilled).

Wonderful wine bar! Wine was great and so was the cheese plate, especially the curled cheese from France. Lovely spot!
