We visited on a weekday as a group of two. The service was poor and felt a bit rushed. The ambiance is definitely nice, but the dishes weren’t particularly impressive, even for a wine bar. The wines, however, were excellent. An 18% mandatory gratuity was added, which felt a bit odd given the service (our water was never refilled).

Wonderful wine bar! Wine was great and so was the cheese plate, especially the curled cheese from France. Lovely spot!

Nice little wine bar in Hayes Valley. Good selection of wine. Could use more menus or a QR code. 18% gratuity is included

Lovely place for some wine, amazing atmosphere if you like a low key chill vibe (and the olives were amazing). Fair prices and had labelled the vegan wines which we loved and

We noticed this wine bar in our way to Hayes St, seeing all the packed restaurants (with lines) we turned back around and decided to see what was on offer and Ebb & Flow. What a lovely, friendly wine bar. We ordered wines based on their staff picks (great option), a cheese board, salami, and tuna. The atmosphere was perfect, I’d recommend it for a date or a pre theatre drink and light food. If we’re back in SF again we would definitely return.

lovely little spot, no nonese with a ton of ambiance, great wine selection. the music isn't too loud, the seats are comfortable, and the staff is very sweet. great date spot, good booths for groups, and nice bar top to sit at by yourself.

Honestly super disappointing. The lady serving us was actually quite rude, wine by the glass list was mediocre and significantly overpriced for what it is, and then when we go to pay there is an automatic 17% gratuity included. Now I typically tip 20% when there is good service, but this isn’t even table service, we had to go up to order from her, she was rude and unhelpful and then it automatically forces a 17% tip. I’m sorry but a tip is for good service and that is the last thing we experienced

Wine was great. I requested a receipt to sign with gratuity and the person at the bar said receipt for some reason was not offered and drink + tax was charged but my credit card shows a greater amount than just that. Feel misled.

Quiet comfortable place where you can actually have a conversation without shouting. Walking distance to many great restaurants.
Loved the pastries and the teas.
Cozy intimate spot with a lovely owner
Cracking little by the glass wine list with plenty of funky little natural numbers. Enjoyed it very much
They have happy hour on Saturdays from 4:30 to 6 pm and a nice selection of wines.
