Loved the view, Loved the food, loved the drinks, loved the service!!! Loved loved loved... Will be back
Had a good experience! The food was yummy and so were the drinks. It was really loud and lively! The waitstaff was all very friendly and helpful!
Food was good. Three of our group are Cuban and they thought it was very authentic. Ambience would be better if they did a better job of blocking the wind. Things were blowing all over, including my drink (which they replaced) but it still spilled all over the table and one of us. Staff was very nice from hosts to servers, but service was VERY slow. Perhaps they were short staffed? Value is not there as the portions are small and you can get so much more in the Mission.
What a pleasant surprise! Coming from a Cuban, this was the closest “traditional” Cuban sandwich I've had outside of my dad's. I'll definitely be back.
I was really impressed they had everything down pat just a week after opening. The food was delicious and the drinks were as well. Ambience on the bar was lovely (less so in view of the fluorescent lights - could do wonders to consult with the designers of Arcana downstairs - some more tropical plants and better lighting would step this place up to a true destination in SF). Will certainly return!
Got to experience their first brunch service. The ceviche was amazing! So many bright flavors. The Cubano was excellent. Really, all the food was yummy!
Very nice experience, the waiter Jacob was very attentive and helpful. The view is amazing, food was on point. Drinks were refreshing and we were greeted by A very pleasant GM who was very busy but kept a smile on his face the whole night. We will definitely be back
Loved El Techo so was curious as to what the new concept was like. It's alright, it's different, but not really for me. Loved the margaritas and Mexican cuisine of the old place, Cuban themed food and drinks aren't really my thing, so hope people who love that enjoy view. Still a great view and awesome staff.
Thank you for the years of great food and fun! My wife and I had our wedding reception at El Techo as it has always been one of our favorites. You will be very missed in the neighborhood and we look forward to what you do next!
Great vibes and views but the questionable service (took long, forgot a drink order, and in a rush to close out the tab) made it less enjoyable and disappointing.

Good environment as rooftop restaurant/ bar. Items come out quickly and the ambiance is typically lively, even on chilly San Francisco nights. Sad to see them leave!
Great spot with excellent food. There are mice visibly running about, which while I get its on the roof - the workers seemed to know and not care at all. Kinda gross.
Margaritas were amazing. Food was incredible, and great prices. The view from the patio was stunning. Will definitely be back!
Drinks are questionable. Ordered margaritas with tequila and mezcal, but they tasted like mocktails and had no heat at all. They are definitely scrimping on the booze. Would not order them again. Food is good. Service and atmosphere was great.
Wasn't really sure what to expect when we got there. But everything from the elevator ride to the dessert was top-notch! They were busy, but the staff never missed a beat! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a rooftop experience with amazing food!
