El Tesoro is my go-to if I'm in this area late at night and want a good quick meal. The burritos are big and filling with good portions of meat rice and beans. Carne asada was solid and flavorful while the birria tacos get a lot of love for being tasty and juicy. The salsa bar is one of the stronger points with a nice variety including a habanero one that actually brings heat (seriously be careful with this one!)
Service was quick and friendly even when it got busy. Prices are fair for the area and the portions make it good value, especially with the free side of chips.
A couple small things kept it from 5 stars. Some items can be a bit on the milder side for flavor and the rice and beans portions on the side are pretty small. It gets loud and crowded during peak hours which is expected in this neighborhood.
Overall a dependable taqueria and grill option in SF. Good for quick burritos tacos or a sit down meal when you’re craving Mexican.

Got a wet burrito last night, looked fine, was hot and fresh when I picked it up. Poor quality of flavor and assembly though. Wouldn’t order it again, tasted kind of mid. About two hours after finishing it was up all night with food poisoning. Sick/ill. Definitely proceed with caution.

Great Mexican food if you're ever in the Tenderloin. Cant wrong either with delivery either. Must try.

Tacos were alright and they give you a good amount of chips if you order them. However, I spent $2.50 each for the salsa and side of rice only to find out the rice comes in a tiny dipping sauce size container and the salsa came in an even smaller container and only half full. Definitely wouldn't spend money here again.
I am surprised and very pleased. The service, food, and atmosphere were excellent, and they might need to do more cleaning around the area. My Mexican husband was quite pleased with their food, especially the menudo, which had pata too. Wow, the one who handed my pickup order was all smiles and energetic. The temperature was great, as was the presentation. They were having a buy one, get one free burrito deal on Uber Eats. Also, the food was prepared promptly. The price was quite affordable. Oh, wow, they gave complimentary chips and salsa too. So definitely coming back

Been ordering food for them few times. Couple times were the red sauces smelled like fish or seafood.
Last time I came I had California burrito with 2 fries in it and of course attitude from the cashier. Not sure what is her deal but will order elsewhere

Very good tacos and quesadillas. The βsuperβ version is generous with toppings. Great flavors.
I have ordered food from this SF location 10+ times over the past year via Doordash. Usually it is great. Unfortunately today I found a large screw in my super quesadilla. Doordash was unhelpful in resolving. I simply want to make the restaurant aware of this serious safety issue.

Iβve been here a few times and the quality varies depending on what you order. The sides arenβt great (dry, small, and a little cold), but the main dishes Iβve ordered have always been great. My favorite dish so far is the chorizo quesadilla, which is stuffed with fillings and very, very rich in flavor.
