Empress by Boon Reviews
Amazing! food was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life! Atmosphere is amazing!
loved the decor, food and people watching scene. The only improvement I would suggest is to add some soft furnishings to absorb the sound. When crowded, it was almost impossible to carry on a conversation from the noise.
Delicious, menu is different everytime, surprisingly it filled me up. It’s definitely a fine dining, take your time enjoying the flavor of the food kinda deal

Empress by Boon offers a delightful tasting menu with a range of complementary flavors across its five courses. The food is described as delicious, and recent customers have highlighted standouts like the crispy fried egg roll, quail, and lobster. While some diners find the food a little rich, others appreciate the flavors. The duck is perfectly cooked, although some wished it came with pancakes and a sauce. The wine pairing option is enjoyed, with servers selecting wines that complement the meal well.
The staff is knowledgeable and accommodating, with some guests noting exceptional service, particularly after initial delays. Chef Boon personally visits tables and offers tours of his kitchen, adding a special touch to the dining experience. The restaurant also acknowledges special occasions with thoughtful gestures, such as special desserts for anniversaries.
The views of Coit Tower and North Beach are exceptional, especially on clear days, making it a great choice for special occasions. The restaurant has received mixed reviews; while some dishes, like fried noodles and snow crab, did not meet expectations, many still praise the stunning decor and overall food experience. Even with some service delays and minor billing issues, diners express a desire to return.
