Wow! Amazing food and experience at Fermentation Lab in Japantown! Weds is Prime Rib night. Complete meal! Wedge salad, delish prime rib with sides (cream spinach & mash potatoes) and a chocolate souffle. Very fun! Recommend a resv!
Second time here. First time service was a disaster. Plates for two people in our party came out 30 min after first mains went down. Tonight all was prompt. Excellent very fresh tasty. My tea leaf while perfectly crisp in no way resembled the description. No fried garlic garbanzos almonds sesame. Just lettuce tomatoes cucumbers and Jalapenos. The dressing was a vinegrette with powdered tea added. More Italian than Thai. Someone needs to look up how a tea leaf salad is really .constructed....
Great meal, wonderful service and especially good cocktails. The penicillin (with gin, and healthy amounts of ginger) was particularly good. Pot stickers were authentically Japanese. We will definitely come back.
