We came to Sanppo Sushi for a quick option without a wait for Friday night dinner. The staff is nice and attentive, and they took our orders soon after we were sat down with menus. I got the dragon roll and rainbow roll, and my boyfriend got the chirashi. This seems to be more of a budget friendly sushi option, but I think the fish quality reflects that. My partner and I were looking to try new places around Japantown instead of going to our usuals like Marufuku and decided to try this since it was one of the few restaurants that was open for Wed dinner. We each opted for a bento box with 2 sides, salad and miso soup - I chose teriyaki salmon and CA rolls as my sides. You know, this place wasn't half bad! But here's my disclaimer: it was late on a Friday night and they were closing in an hour, which means the kitchen was closing in 30min.
