Very slow, uncoordinated staff. Not a cozy spot to hang out. Coffee options are bland.

One of the neighborhood gems in the Fillmore district. Great location right if Eddy and Fillmore. Awesome bagals, coffee, sandwiches and anything in between. It's got a homemade, wholesome vibe to this place and not too mention the fantastic service. If you have not tried this place out, it's about time?????? !

I just recently relocated to the area, and although there are many spots to choose from I just love this cafe. There are always people sitting in the cafe visiting, watching a soccer or football game, and the workers are so nice. I am always making "special" orders (modifications like no cheese, no dairy. etc) and the staff has always welcomed these requests and exceeded my expectations while making my order with care. It feels like you popped into a friend or family member's house to grab a bite/ coffee. I will be coming here often!

I lived for a while in NYC so I wasn’t expecting much but these breakfast bagels are absolutely delicious. I got the Indian style breakfast bagel with melted cheese on a poppy seed bagel and will definitely be coming back soon.

Food is good, but some times strangely slow (like drinks). Would be better if there weren't so many homeless people sitting in the outdoor seating directly by the entrance.
Amazing Chai Latte!! This place is definitely worth a stop in for a warm drink and a bagel!!

A great place to stop for bite to eat. The smell emanating from their kitchen in the early morning is like something out of story books. The restaurant is locally owned and ran, and they have an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has that old fashioned diner feel, with pieces of hand drawn artwork on the walls. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: The restaurant does have vegetarian options on their menu. The family that owns and runs the cafe, are Eritrean, so you can rest assured, the vegetarian options are just as fantastic as the regular menu. Real down to earth folks at the Cafe. It's a regular stop for myself.
