Foghorn Taproom is a chill spot known for its really good wings that melt off the bone, with buffalo and mango habanero sauces being favorites. The taproom is an Inner Richmond staple, offering local beers, ciders, and sours. It has a great staff and a good beer selection, along with delicious chicken sandwiches and salads. The chicken skewer & rice bowl is amazing, featuring flavorful rice, great chicken, and vegetables. The Brussels sprouts can be hit or miss; they were a bit soggy for some but others found them crispy and flavorful. The French fries are also a standout, perfectly crispy and golden. The service is great, and there are many seating options inside and out, making it a great place to watch sports or enjoy a meal. Though some vegetarians found the options limited, the app-based payment system is convenient, and calling to order with a friendly person for pickup is a nice touch. Overall, Foghorn Taproom is a great restaurant that doesn’t disappoint.
