Franciscan Crab Restaurant Reviews
The last time I ate here was 2019, I had a trip to San Francisco last week and head straight to this restaurant and ordered what I’m ordering here. I really miss eating here the sizzling plate of seafoods, with the taste of garlic butter sauce. with friendly staffs/servers that I still recognized way back 2019! I’ll be back again soon!
Great crab! Also very helpfull waiters. I recommend it!

The Franciscan Crab Restaurant is a popular spot for lunch or dinner, known for its fresh and delicious seafood. The fish and chips are a highlight, praised for being crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. The Whole Dungeness Crab is a must-try, often served hot, tasty, and fresh, with some customers loving the garlic sauce. The restaurant also offers mussels and shrimp, which are highly recommended. Inside, the decor features a beautiful nostalgic Art Deco style that feels classic and full of history. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay, including the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, especially from window seats. The service is professional, efficient, and friendly, with attentive staff making sure glasses are always filled. Though it can be a bit pricey, many find it worth the cost for the delicious food, great atmosphere, and stunning views. The restaurant is a bit upscale and suitable for all customers, but dressing appropriately is recommended. Some mention a slightly dated atmosphere, but the overall experience, including the food and view, keeps visitors coming back.
