Tasty authentic ramen. Lovely staff. Serves alcohol, but it's not on the menu, so make sure you ask. Know that when you choose meat, you'll only get one type (i.e. fuku chicken karaage ramen does not come with pork from the base, which is not clear on the menu). Would come back again.

From the decorations to the food, one could hardly call this a Japanese restaurant. We tried three different ramens and the takoyaki. Everything was extremely bland, the taste was off, and the ingredients were not fresh.I can not in good faith recommend this restaurant and your dollars are best spent elsewhere.

Karaage ramen is so flavorful! Wish they got sparkling jelly sake that would fulfill all my desires for a Japanese restaurant

I had the red garlic tonkatsu. It was delicious, with a decent amount of spice. The gyoza was fried, with a crisp bottom and a soft top. Also pretty much as good as you can ask for.My girlfriend had the tonkatsu and described it as, “very tasty”.Overall 5/5 for the price.

I contracted foodborne illness at this restaurant.I ate the Fuku Tonkatsu, which was served somewhat lukewarm, the seasoned egg was cold. Perhaps inadequate heating contributed to the illness. The service and space were very pleasant. I hope that they can identify what made me sick, fix it, and go on to thrive.

We live around the corner from this popular Ramen Restaurant and we finally went in and tried their namesake dish. It was early for dinner' around 5:15PM, and the friendly waitress sat my wife and I in the window. We were both hungry after a day of hanging out at Baker Beach so my wife ordered the Spicy Fuku Red Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and I had the traditional Fuku Tonkotsu Ramen. Serendipitously, they had $1 beer on special and we both chose a Sapporo which were served in perfectly frosted beer tankards. Iced waters arrived as well, and we were all set. It's a popular neighborhood place and within a few minutes a family of 4 showed up, and not long after, a table of 6 sat down and ordered. The Restaurant itself is spotless, and I liked the butcher-block table tops and comfortable chairs. Our food came quickly and it was delicious! The two servers checked in to make sure we were doing okay, and their timing was perfect when we finished our main course. Also on special was a free scoop of ice cream and my wife and I both ordered the excellent Matcha flavor. All in all, we had a perfect experience, the food was very tasty (the broth tasted rich and yummy - just how we were expecting). The service was excellent, the decor and ambiance clean and comfortable. We'll be back with our eighteen year old twins when they come from college next month!Parking: Huge amount of daytime-metered spots (Free after 6PM and all day Sundays) available in this area of Clement StKid-friendliness: I've seen people having dates here, and earlier in the evening, whole families chowing down

Went to Fuku Ramen on a rainy Saturday afternoon and the place was pretty busy. There isn't much seating and all the tables were full however our party of 4 waited about 5-10 minutes until we were seated. They have tables on the larger side that I saw multiple parties splitting the table. The food was really good and definitely hit the spot for the weather. The broth for the Fuku black garlic ramen was flavorful, not salty and had a nice taste. I don't do spice but some people said the chili oil was great to add to their food. One star less due to the service being pretty slow. Seemed like there was just 1 person working front of house and a few people in the back.

This is the best ramen in the Richmond, bar none. It’s a cute little place run by a brother and sister. The chef opened this after working in other ramen shops for years. His experience is evident. The broth is silky and delicious. The chashu is given in generous portions. And you can order a stripped down version for just $12. Plus they have a $1 beer special and give you a scoop of ice cream when you’re done.Delicious food with incredible service. What else can you ask for?Make this a stop in the Richmond.

Had vegetarian miso ramen, it did not have lots of flavors, felt like a watered down version of instant miso ramen or noodles dropped into a light miso soup. the miso flavor was weak even. Do not recommend this dish.

One of the best ramen places that I've had! I got the fried squid (ika karage) and also the regular pork tonkotsu. The karage was lightly fried, perfectly seasoned, super tender, and juicy. The ramen was amazing as well, with a clean broth that had a nice depth of flavor of the pork bone and the smokiness of the chashu. They do use egg noodles here, which I'm fine with, but some people do prefer flour. Service was fast and the waitress was polite and respectful!Parking: Decent amount of parking within a 2 block radius

We chose Tonkotsu Miso, came with chicken karaage, gyoza and takoyaki. All of them were full of flavor, tasty and great size for the price. I recommend getting there earlier than 12 (maybe 11:40ish) if you want to eat lunch since it gets supper crowded and it's hard to find a table.

Came here at 11:30 am on a Saturday morning for lunch for a party of 7 and we had no problem getting a large table. The place is spacious but parking can be a problem. Luckily my friend had parking karma and we found free street parking on 23rd Avenue. We ordered some appetizers: chicken karaage, edamame, and fried squid which were all delicious. 4 of us ordered the Fuku Ramen Tonkatsu and 3 ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen with chicken karaage. The soup noodles were comforting and the broth was tasty! A very enjoyable meal! Check in did not include free ice cream

The food was ok and the service was subpar. We found the ramen to be a bit simple and bland. There are so many great ramen spots in SF and this one misses the mark. The broth is on the more watery side; it's not thick or creamy. I got the miso and added a lot of sesame oil, soy sauce, and chili powder to give it flavor because it was very plain. The tofu was good. The meat portions were small. They didn't give a lot of noodles in our bowls. We'll probably get our ramen elsewhere from now on. There are a lot of reviews about great service but we didn't receive that from our waitress. She was not friendly or attentive. The ambiance of this place is strange; it's dark gray and very barren. Also, it smelled like cat when we walked in! People mention free ice cream and happy hour drinks in their reviews but they don't have that anymore.

One of the best ramens I've had in the city (I'd choose Fuku ramen over Marufuku and Ippudo)! My partner and I got the regular Tonkotsu and Miso Tonkotsu ramen. Both had very flavorful broth with true meaty and pork bone depth. I'm partial to egg noodles so its bounciness was perfect for me. Chashu was a bit thin but nonetheless had a great smokiness. The ika karaage was a great starter! Tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and a crunchy light fry. One of my favorite meals in a long time. Looking forward to coming back soon!
