Big fan of Hainan chicken - and the place is good. I can’t explain why it felt a little greasy… it’s a poached chicken, but there was something different in how they made.Would I come again - maybe. Is it the best hainan in the city, yes.

This is as good as it gets with Hainan style chicken. The dish is simple and delicious. The rice is flavorful and the broth is great. The crispy chicken wings are pretty tasty as well. You even get a discount if you eat before or after a show at the Golden Gate Theater!

We ordered the Mixed Gai and Crispy Gai with Hainan sauce, which were both delicious. The meat was tender and juicy, and the Hainan sauce flavored the rice so well! Great value and

honestly? so good. would DEFINITELY COMEBACK. the location is a bit eh cus the space has a lot of sitting area and i think the only down side is that there isn't a restroom/ nearby warfield. service was also very great. the staff was super nice and the wait time for food was really short. LOVE THAT. the food quality is fabulous ! i highly recommend the original gai cus it really is ALL dark meat !! the ginger sauce is like the chinese one so really good. the soup tastes like chicken stock/broth and is super light and refreshing. and the rice was very garlic/gingery and flavorful. i loved my dish. i don't care for cucumbers but yeh they're there hahah. my companion also got the crispy gai and the chicken was so juicy and tender and it was indeed very crispy and does NOT taste like old oil. therefore, i also recommend the crispy gai. y'all great. will visit y'all again soon :)

No, just no. I will never come here again. I ordered in person. The food shouldn't be cold. Not only that it was BLAND. Literally boiled bird. There shouldn't be a 5 minute wait to order when there is literally one person in front of me. Don't make the same mistake I did and try their food.

Fast service, Dan Dan Noodles with beef/chicken peanut sauce, served in to-go containers - Get the Vietnamese Iced Coffee - Excellent! Perfect before-the-show, quick-n-dirty dinner, right across the street from the show. If you are lucky, the locals will have a sidewalk garage sale of lost treasure right outside the window.

This place is perfect if you are looking for something quick or need to grab a quick bite before/after going to the theater. The food is tasty and simple. The staff is great, friendly, efficient, and funny. He shared stories of his experiences working there and the misunderstandings of how to say "Gai." We took our food to go but they do have a few tables for you to dine in as well.

Such a convenient place to eat if you're about to see a show at the Warfield. My friend and I saw this place after parking at the IKEA building, and walking over to the Warfield. We had maybe half an hour to eat, so this fast casual place was perfect. They have a good number of tables and chairs for diners. We shared the Original Gai. The chicken was very tasty and moist. The soup was great, not too salty. The dish was a good size too. My friend wasn't too hungry so the portion size worked for both of us. They had quite a big menu, but I think I'd go with the Original Gai again if I find myself in the area for a concert. The service was fast and friendly and the dining area was fairly clean.

The crispy and mixed chicken plates were really tasty and are good serving size! The thai mango milk was so good and not too sweet!
