I liked the vibe of this restaurant as a neighborhood cafe with a large common table. We showed up at 11:30 with maybe two other tables seated. We ordered from an “uninterested” waitress who gave us no eye contact. I asked for the table to be wiped down since our napkins and (forearms) were stuck to the table. She said the tables are naturally sticky. The restaurant started to fill up. We waited 40 minutes and saw 4 other tables get their orders ahead of us. I’ve never had...
French onion soup was of solid quality, a very appropriate option for a cool November afternoon. The salmon was cooked to perfection: juicy and flavorful. The chocolate dessert tasted very good. The staff was very attentive and helpful, the light pacific vibe of the place helped me relax. The place does deserve its title of the local gem. Don't forget to put on a jacket or a vest: it's Outer Sunset's weather outside, after all.
