Came weekend night and the place is packed. The decor is decent and moody. We ordered pork chops and Chicken Milanese. Both tasted great and portions were good. We don’t care the roasted carrots appetizer too much. It was overcooked and too much honey given the vegetable itself is sweet already.
Always love garibaldis - last night was an odd experience with our server. We ordered a bottle of sparkling and he didn't bring it to the table to show us the bottle or open it. Instead he brought a filled glass to the table. When I asked about it, he said it's a heavy bottle, would be hard to pour across the table. Ultimately, he said, I just didn't. It was fine, and his service was good, but I wondered if “rules” are changing? This happened once in NYC restaurant...
I used to go to this restaurant years ago and someone took me recently during the holidays and I actually have to say I'm in love with it. I'm in love with the food they make you feel special like they've known you for a long time. I have to say one of the best martinis in the city and definitely the pasta.🎉
