Where were all the flowers that beautified and popularized the Garden Court? Service was minimal and the food not worth the price tag for the buffet. Sadly, we were disappointed with the experience as it did not live up to our expectations. We will not be back again.

Mediocre breakfast buffet. I'm glad it was included in my room rate. I would not have paid any exorbidant cost for that breakfast. It was a very pretty area in the hotel though.

This place has gone down in time , and this last time is going to be my last visit for brunch, first of all I had made reservation for 10:15 and arrived 10:10 just in case , however end up to be told to stand in a long line with all the people who had no reservations , by the time I reached the hostess was 10:35!! Seated by 10:40 ! Very tight place and noisy , the food was poor quality , eggs were very cold , and everything looked old and dry , even bagels were tiny and not much variety , no berries in fruit sections either expected much more for $44 per person this I wouldn't pay more than $15 per person . I was quite embarrassed since I had invited a business client, and was very disappointed. Then had to pay another $30 for parking as well ... btw no fresh juice is served not even fresh squeezed OJ! Took about half hour to get the attention of the waiter to pay the bill and leave ! Horrible experience

Not worth the money. We went to a table that was dirty on the floor as well as my chair. One of the servers told me it was because a kid was there before me, but not sure how this was relevant as they should clean it before we were seated. The food was ok as they seemed to prepared and plated a while before serving. The placement looked like they came from IKEA. The tea was the only thing I like ( I had the Nobo Whole Fruit). For the price and where the tea place located, I felt underwhelming.

I went with my husband and the Hotel looks like a Palace, a lot of history was open in December 1909, we went for anniversary and at the end the server bring us a cake and told me happy birthday hahah definitely they need better comunication between hostess and servers, the bites were good but not exceptional, we finish paying $300 for both of us for Afternoon Tea without Champagne.

I have so many memories of meals and Afternoon Tea in The Garden Court and this visit did not disappoint. I had to celebrate my 70th birthday there! The room is historic and spectacular. The service was impeccable. Our breakfast was fabulous. The egg, bacon and toast cooked breakfast was perfectly presented. My goat cheese, onion and zucchini omelet was the best omelette I have ever had. The zucchini was sliced paper thin hence the eggs were not watery. The eggs were cooked which I appreciate yet they were light and fluffy. The 9-grain toast was delicious. The manager came over to say hello which was lovely. Our server Sam, was spectacular. He was very friendly, attentive but not obtrusive. This property is gorgeous and I highly recommend visiting and having a meal in The Garden Court.

The ambiance was beautiful, the tea sandwiches were fine and the desserts were comparable to a child's birthday. There were sprinkles and frosting on everything, highly sweetened and not complex in the least. I would expect a more sophisticated offering for the price point. I had been here in the past and this year the experience was lackluster. I don't believe I will be returning.

This experience was subpar and a disappointment. The food was mass produced and unoriginal and certainly overpriced. The service was poor. The tables and floors were dirty making the meal unappetizing.

We had reservations for the Signature Tea in the Garden Court. We were not sure what to expect going there. We received a lukewarm pot of tea and 5 little finger sandwiches that seemed like they had been prepared on hours ago. The pieces of toast were chewy and hard. Then we got a tray of tastings for dessert. For the cost ($120 per person in our party of 4), the amount of food and quality of food was simply not worth it. We would not recommend this experience. Save your money and use it for another dining experience.

Thank you for a having a gluten free option it made an excellent impression on my daughter since we were celebrating her birthday, and she was worried about what would be brought to her. We had a wonderful memorable celebration. Thank you

I'll start by saying that the space is absolutely stunning. We had a breakfast reservation and when we arrived to check in, the host seemed annoyed and reluctant to help us. We were seated and it took 15 minutes for a runner to come and take our drink order. It took another 15 minutes for our server (total 30 minutes waiting) to come take our order. He offered no apology for making us wait and instead said he had a big table to take care of so he was just getting to us. He hastily took our food order. Our food came out 45 minutes after we were seated. We asked our server for the check when he brought our food because we had an appointment we needed to make. He made a rude comment about how everyone was rushing him today. We watched as all the tables around us asked him multiple times for their checks. The food was good. Worth the hassle? No.

Loved it! We went for breakfast. Did not do the buffet like most but we were happy we didn't because the avacado toast was amazing. Good size too. Everything was great. Service was great. My coffee cup never went cold. Filled without asking! Love that. Atmosphere speaks for itself

Overall very lack luster. Extremely expensive for what you get in a very underwhelming food presentation. Dining room itself is magnificent. But killed by overly packed in tables. Carpet was extremely dirty and the place smelt liked spoiled milk. Lovely harp playing which was great to have with tea.

Breakfast here is pricy but worth it, and comparable to other buffet-style breakfasts in nearby hotels. Food is always interesting and varied, the fresh pastry table always delicious. The service is professional and attentive and the ambiance is majestic. I treat myself to at least one breakfast here every trip to SF. ❤️

Our experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional. The staff was not only lovely but also incredibly attentive and courteous throughout our visit. They took great care to accommodate our allergies and dietary restrictions, ensuring that every dish was tailored perfectly to our needs. The location itself is stunning, adding to the overall wonderful ambiance. Highly recommended!
